i've previously sent my car in for inspections only at BMWorld at Desa Pandan and was very impressed with Affandi the foreman thereAnyway, yesterday, i finally took the plunge and asked them to do some work on my carI was really impressed (they aren't cheap but neither are they expensive but i'm on a budget so cheap is good to me ..... but after some mediocre experiences at some workshops i was on the hunt for a decent place to get work done on my old girl)They treated my old girl (14yr old E36 318i M43) like a princessShe was lovingly handled and meticulously examined and repairedi fixed the timing case oil leaks, serviced the ABS pump, replaced 4 brake hoses and flushed the brake fluids and bled the brakes and clutchThey also fixed my remote car alarm (that hadn't been working for years) and reset the auto locking back to 10kmph (that had gone to 60kmph a couple of months ago)They washed the engine, and the rims etc but i had to take a raincheck on the car washThe job was done very professionally and for once i left a mechanic's workshop without a single complaint .....i'm really impressedThey did a really great job and are from now on they will be my permanant mechanicsam so glad i took the plunge and decided to give them a tryA big"Thank You" to the forummer that receommended them!

hey guys I tried to google the direction to the workshop but all in vain. can anyone give some directions to there? thanks!

Depending on where you're coming from, you'll need to get to Bulatan Kampung Pandan.

Once you're there head towards Desa Pandan. You'll know you're on the right track if you see a high school on your right and then immediately after that you'll see a Petronas next to newly built shoplots.

Stay on that road and keep following it till you see an Esso petrol station on your right. Make a u-turn at the traffic light in front of the Esso. Keep going for about 50 meters and make a left. BMWorld is the corner shop immediately after the turn.

I used to send my car there mainly because it was close to where I live. However I stopped after a while not because of any bad experiences or anything like that. For me, BMWorld is a great workshop for people who just want a place to maintain their cars and nothing more. When it comes to more technical things I felt most of the mechanics there had little knowledge and expertise. Maybe things have changed since it has been more than a year since my last visit.

One things for sure, they really treat your car like a princess.

service is ok, but must prepare to pay.

e.g. top up aircond gas and compressor oil RM200

Me too had good experience here..... little pricey, but service is good... worth the investment...

Hi, Just wanted to update everyone about BMWorld (Desa Pandan)

I haven't been on the forum at all lately, because the service i'm getting from BMWorld is excellent and i've got no complaints at all

The minute i tell them i think there's something wrong, they immediately start checking it and they get it fixed ..... i'm so happy .....

I have been there now around 4 times to do all sorts of things from changing the rear axel oil, brakes servicing, flushing coolant, changing the rubbers on the door handles, battery checks, sterring checks, oil leaks etc
They even managed to fix a problem i've had for years with the cobra car alarm ......

Their service really is excellent and now that i'm more or less a regular customer (i make an appointment every month) .... the prices they charge are dropping as well and i'm being charged very very reasonably now ....

I've finally finished most of the major items and i'm now running down the list of maintenance stuff that hasn't been done in awhile and changing some small items .....

They are also very understanding that i am on a budget and are willing to let me do small things each visit so that i don't burst my budget .....

Honestly, they have taken a load off my mind and i'm not so worried about my car anymore .....

Its good that ur happy with the service. Its a rarity now.

Apparently there are 2 workshop with the name BMWorld...
One is the BMWorld mentioned,
and another one at Bandar Tun Razak (run by Ah Wai or sometime known as Fatty).

Does anyone here know about BMWMB workshop(opposite to the Ampang Tesco)
nearby the highway MRR2. How's the services?

Thanks;

The BMWorld in Desa Pandan name has been changed now I can't recall the new name now, My fam frequent there since the days they were from Sg Besi/Kuchai days.

Yes agree service is good but prices is pricey, now lesser visit as a bit ashamed I am driving a 15 yr old e36 and most of the cars that are sent there are the newer models. My e21 nak sent lagi malu too old to be sent there.

Prices slightly less than AB I guess should be ok for newer models. I ahve recommended Affan there sometime ago, maybe he will be able to shed some inputs on the place.

Even my bro has ceased to visit them as pricey.

The owner name is Yusri 0162214878 ask for him he's reasonable.

I used to send my car there but not anymore, I don't like the manager telling me it's expensive to maintain BMW with the face like I cannot own one or I am not a VIP to own one. Bloody hell I own 3 lah.
Pity though with times like this it's not easy to get loyal customer.

cheers
