Albundy is King. All hail the king.Fabian Thanks to you i now got handache, legache, ballsache what ache also got.
Today I seat behind scooter more than gokart  I dunno whether its bcos my name is Alvin as both the Alvin today the kart all got problem one. Chain putuslah, chain comeoutlah, no brakelah, fuel surge lah and the best part as entering the pits after the session a part of the steering column broke, cannot steer hit tirewall. Whole session never hit tire wall
slow slow goin in hit tire wall. :(
As I was not chasing or being chased by anybody I just drove like a mad man drifting around the corners and practicing the scandinavian flick.
Its been along time since Ive been on a kart bcos no kaki, hopefully this
can be a monthly affair. Thanks Fabian for organising todays event.

Arrggh I still feel so sore. Left palm got blisters.

Did not wear gloves, no racing suit. Pain man.. but lotsa fun. I spun three times but hmmm not bad la today. Must be my kart number. :D

Oh, finally met Dimples. Nice person and nice to meet you.

Bah, I felt like I was going for a Sunday drive. You guys were leaving me for dead. Even in the straights with me on full throttle, you were all overtaking me easily. Hmmmm... maybe kena sabo alreadi...

Was there yesterday to check it out and my, felt just like jumping on eone and join in.

My nerves are shot and if I get into one of them I may end up bedridden for the rest of my life (L4/L5 disc shattered). The adrenelin shot is not worth it for me.

So enjoy and I'll watch and drool on the sidelines.

For the rest of you guys, go for it. Make sure that you get the following 2 things at the end of the race:

1. Blistered hands
2. Completely drenched from head to toe
3. Sore back and hands for 3 days.

If not you've not pushed yourselves enough.

IT was fun, and TIRING! Slept till 7pm from the moment I reached home :D

The 80cc event started at roughly 12:30 and we had roughly about 10 participants? I decided to join the 80cc group since the objective is to teach zoggee a lesson on how to drive a kart properly :p  Similarly, alvin aka loverboy decided to do so as well (should have sticked to 100cc haha).

On the starting grid, i was revving the engine in order to "launch" the kart, tiu forgot the clutch is engaged all the time and smoke started billowing out. Its overheated and then Fab flagged us off, damn even zoggee overtook me (and he was at the back of the grid), but then half way through the first lap, plenty of folks were having trouble and I sort of caught up to second place and was jostling and battling with Necessary for the lead, it was a close battle and pretty fun too all the way to the Chequered Flag :)

Yeah when's next?? Till then I will have the bragging rights...COME LAR SCARED AH hahahahahaha  :p :p

Bro XXX

What can i say, welcome to the world of racing. Understand how the F1 drivers & their team prepares for races. Well in term of kart events like what we did of you need the skill to do well but also some luck is needed due to rental karts. So choose kart & pray it run till the finish.

On my 1st lap, got of well & was leading for 1/2 a lap b4 the accelerator cable decides to snap. Went in to chg kart, came out of pit lane to find that 2nd kart brakes overheated from the earlier event. So no brake. Criuise in to chg again. By then race was over for me. But still had loads of fun.

Albundy

Congrats for winning. Till the next event anyway.

pssssttttt......................i mange to catch up & lap Zoggee too. :p :p

Come Lar scare ar!!!!!!!!!!!

Alvin aka Loverboy, at least you get to lap Zoggee :p :p muahahahahaha

Let's see...

1. Blistered hands... Right hand only.
2. Drenched... You can say that again. Bloody kart cannot go fast enuff for natural air-cooling.
3. Sore back and hands... Sore back, yes. Sore hands, not yet (go to gym every other day mar). Sore ass, yes.
4. Sun-burn... On the face!

Stage 1 = reduce by 5kg from 70 to 65. Own program, doesn't cost any money wan ;)

What happened to Fabian? His 58kg should eat you alive no matter how skillful you are! Anyway, hope someone will write a race report.

It was a fun way to lose weight. Felt like being in an outdoor sauna, under the heat of the sun as well as the lawn-mower engine trying its best to cook my back.

The steering wheel felt like a vibrator on steriods. It was all i could do to hang on. i know steering feedback is good, but this was ridiculous!

My cart was pretty reliable. Managed to keep it going until the end. Someone, I dunno who, snuck up from behind me in the last few laps, and in trying to avoid knocking into him, i spun. next thing i know, i was facing the opposite direction, with the leaders charging at me at full speed.

Guys, if you saw someone wiith his hands up in the sky, it was me. The hands in the sky was not just to attract your attention. It was also to pray to god above...

Proudest achievements?
1. Manage to avoid being last despite spinning out.
2. No blister
3. Managed to fit big butt into the teenny bucket seat

After that, felt like running to the nearest swimming pool and plunging in head first.

Had trouble sleeping... aircond at full blast, but still felt the residual heat...

Fabian,

thanks for organising this fun event. it was a good way to burn some calories...

result of the race...?

Fab was the orgyniser, so he cunt race :) :)

Saw eeric driving his kart around the track, now that's the SIFU!!! Damn kau fast!

yeah Fabs. Thanks for orgynizing...
Would be fun if he had joined.

Fabs, I asked you yesterday if you were racing bcos if you were, I don't mind lending a hand while you go burn rubber on track.

I thought it was gonna be a lousy dah for me as my kart would not start at all. Then found out the throttle was stuck. With the help of a plier, they loosened up the throttle lever and they restarted. Off I went and I flew....
