actually, there are only 2 transponders on the 100 cc karts. the lady in-charge Wai Shun cudnt print all the timings..

Then take a slightly different line, if it's a lefthander, take a slight righter line so that you'll end up more to the left as u exit the apex, and since u still managed to maintain at 'good' RPM, you'll get good exit speed too...
There's more to it when dicing with a fellow gentleman karter. but don't overcook it... Sometime, u got to stay off slightly the racing line to set up for overtaking opportunity in the next corner.

Sorry for the long awaited report and results from me...
Due to slight time constraint, I decided to do a 20min race instead of the 2 heats + 1 final format.
So it was a race of semi-endurance for most. and I'm glad most of u enjoyed the race as much as I enjoyed watching some of u fightin in out... Affan was showing lots of potential keeping up with Albundy and The Necc. The wasn't many spin off during the course of the race, which goes to show everyone is aware of the limits of the karts and of themselves. 3 cheers to that.
The final results were
1. Albundy
2. Affan
3. The Necc
4. Okow
5. Zoggee
6. McTnesh
7. Lee36328
8. Alvin
9. BMWFreak
10. Flash
Fastest lap of the race was by affan - 1:13.383
As for the 100cc race, it was my mistake to miss out on telling the guys that it would be a rolling start rather than a standing start... My apologies.
However, we did see some nice fight with Brian and The Fazz and later came LONG....
Indra was bz catching up with duelling 3some.
XXX was having a field day with the karts. and so was Jin.
No race results for 100cc but some great little friendly tussle nonetheless...
Sorry for the hiccups for this first little unofficial race.... Will work on the next race soon....

Am sure I'm speaking for everyone when I say thanks for the great job! Appreciate the tireless effort.

the engine sounds like that wan, dun worry about it burstin, just pretend its a lawn mower..
Remember, the condition of the kart varies greatly too, so, bad luck if u get a slow kart...
All in all, it was great fun...
Try doing it in your UDM! Now, that wud be interesting....
