Attended the BMW Performance Day at Danga Bay organized by Auto Bavaria on 21st March 2009 at 9am slot. Would like to thank BMW Malaysia for the opportunity & also to the trainer Mr Hammond, Mr Puven & our very own Prez of BMWCM Mr Albundy:top:
It is my 1st time attending any car related driving event. It was knowledgeable event with useful tips but lil dissapointed as the driving test was lil short & no direct demo on the car driven by the trainer before the test. However many thanks to the Mr Prez for giving me demo ride on how to trash the car after the test :top: . This is my 3rd time driving an E60. It is nice looking car but not really like the active stereng feel as I more prefer the heavier feel. However on the brake & swerve test it would be very much helpful & you can feel the dynamic & good handling of the car. It is more refined than E39 especially the engine note. Good for daily drive as feel very lite but not sure for long distance & high speed. Overall I prefer E90 especially the 325 which I believe a quantum leap from previous 3 series. Just my 2 cents. For me all BMW cars are good it just a matter on how u drive them. Anyway many thanks to everyone involved as it was hell of experience. After all it was free event!!!

Car no 1 that was driven by me. It's a 523 SE & it was damn slower than my 528 hahaha

For display only. E60 525 Msport. Can look & see but cannot drive unless you put 40k downpayment lar.

Beside the driving fun and opportunity to abuse the car, I thought the sitting theory is very iinformative that most of us taken for granted. Great Event! But I still prefer the hard handling on the older version, E60 make me feeling like driving a Japanese car.. .heheh another excuse not to have one (cos' can't effort... )

already more than a week driving in new sitting position. So far okay. Went to Kuantan and back and felt much better with no back pain. Still trying to figure out best way to make full turns....
