Good question!

But no one has a 3 year old 320d in Malaysia since it was only introduced late last year. Looks like u have to wait for 3 years from now to get your answer..

Few have feedback to me worrying the maintenance will be scary for a diesel engine.. proly they see many black smoke trucks frequent the workshop attempting to fix the black smoke..

Diesel engine is a high torque low rpm engine.. how can a low rpm engine has higher wear and tear then a high rev engine? The rpm is almost triple in a petrol NA engine compare to a diesel engine.. so my guess is the diesel engine is 3x more durable than the petrol engine and its parts cost certainly not 3x more expensive than petrol engine parts.

On top of that, turbo diesel is 3x the fun of driving a petrol 320i.. :top: Stop worrying will y'all! :stupid:

Astroboy, agree with u on 320d performance and maintenance.dont have to worry about the maintenance just enjoy the car to the fullest while u still can:top: the car would be obsolete by then already......anyway how's yr 'project'? ada ong ka?

There's the 3 year/60,000km warranty that should last us till our next BMW purchase.....- a twin turbo diesel?:top::top::top:

I also have "tik tik" sounds when go into uneven road ( Left handside dashbaord). After the SC rectify it, it come on once in a while only. The service advisor says due to the rigidity of the body against parts. Some this time of sound came out. No easy to trace. Maybe the guys in Kulim did not screwed too strong or too soft the parts and with the complete car, the sounds came out. Possible ?

It's how the car being put together and the materials they use. Same problem with E60. BMW claims that the new F10 and and the new 5er GT will never have this problem.

This time around I'd believe them. When they designed the E60, they were too excited to reduce the overall weight substantially.

I have not fixed mine yet.U need even surface to put it on.there are only 2 places that u can stick either underneath the armrest console or on the far left of the windscreen; passenger side. The plague is there at Quill. For my case Yvonne personally wrote the letter to me with Roland counter signed. She called me up after that mentioning abt the plague.it is the size of a call card.

Have any of you guys seen another 320d Limited Edition on the road? I haven't....which in some ways is sad...(too exclusive, some may say)...still I wish, saw another similar model. I am in Kl. How many of you other 9 in KL?

1. yours -tmn desa/okr
2. mine - shah alam
3. 1 unit in pj
4. another unit in pj (they r both friends, no.3 & no.4)
5. 1 unit in jln ampang belongs to an expatriate fm maldives
6. 1 unit in ttdi
