Auto transmission oil

Hi ,I'm new to this club, own a f10 520d . Been told by AB mechanics that the auto transmission oil need not be change and if i insist changing , i have to indemnify them if any problem after changing.I do not believe the oil is built to last forever ! maybe AB do not change gear oil but gear box only ...... any comments ?cheers.

Well my point is will they be liable then if we listen to their advice and the transmission went kaput? As far as I know, AB will change if you request without a blink.

First time I hear that customers need to indemnify them.

I asked them and they recommended against it because apparently it stuffs up after doing so. I couldn't get a full explanation on this from them. Weird...

Morning guys..
Just to share there is no such thing any oil or fluid that can last till the end life of gb...
Even long lufe coolant need to flush after some mileage. .
1'v change my gb fuild after 80k/km....just my 2cents...

Got mine changed at TS Ipoh when I reached about 50k or so. But I have to pay. Nothing about indemnity. Ask them for a black and white letter to request for indemnity and take it up with BMW direct.
