..first of all, dont put yourself down, because of car or idiotic sales person bro..rich or not, you have right to ask for decent service, and thats what they suppose to deliver, and obviously they are not, as they are bunch of underrated sales persons, with ego taller than Mount Everest, builted on the top of the fact that they working in shiny BMW saloon...you deserve treatment like any other person, regardless rich or not...if they are not interested in to earning money, then you should be less interested to spend money on them bro..and side thing..its your dream machine, not theirs bro..dont let them spoil you..just go somewhere else, where people have at least basic understanding for such things...cheers, and hopefully we will see you joining rest of us here..all best bro..

I've had similar experience in AB Glenmarie. Since it was the closest dealership(i live in Klang) to me at that time i had to go there.But the treatment i got from SA there wasnt pleasant and i went over to Quill PJ and got my car there.

BMW German should pay attention on these matter, maybe customers only made complaint to BMW Malaysia. Sad to say that most the Sales persons didn't go for proper Sales Training. Many of them lack of integrity & patient, especially for those earning commission for living.

Wow! Not only AB ruined their after sales & service reputation, they're now trying to do the same thing with the sales too. Other dealers go :top:

I tend to agree with you on this bro. However not all AB are the same. As for AB KL is concern, I will highlight this to their Dealer Principal (Mr Jeffery) to look into this matter immediately :top: ..
Apart from Wearnes Auto Segambut, AB KL has been supportive towards The Club and its members. All feedback are most welcome and I will escalate it to the proper channel for their action.

Good day to all UDM members,
I'm a poor man wish to own UDM, since my good friends start to racun me, infact i try working hard to fullfill my little dreams.....but the nightmare was begin because of AUTOBAVARIA!!!!
-Last monday I just walk in the Autobavaria showroom in Jalan Tun Razak (Opp G-Tower) before that I do visit 2 times to survey the price tag.....(not enough money for 328 CBU unit) suddent ppl tell me ther got CKD/SKD unit 328 selling below RM300k. So I just ask the price and ring the call to my wife....She said: if you like it, thn but it!
-This is good! So I call the sale person to show me the price tag (i never ask for test drive) just ask for delivery timing....thn trade in my old junk (Toyota Mark X) So they ask me come back tmw, cos used car ppl to see my car value......
-Second day, i make my move and show my sincere to the used car dealer.....(he say my car value rm85++ perhaps i do check my car value was around 95k)
-So i say is ok, let discuss with the sale person thn i let the dealer know was is the out come....
-Thus, the sale person they only offered me rm90 max (as my request may be make it more thn 90k thn will do) the stupid thing start coming up...
Sale person say your car no value....we already offered u the best price, you want trade or not? Some more She say i done the reseach in muday.my my car only sale rm80k......thn i told her my spec was diff (Sspec with full optional accessories)
Thn.....all is the same japanese car was like that, thn i told her thn why msport bmw sale it in diff price? She answer me this is bmw not japanese car....Oops!!! So, she not dare even how i feel......she say "this is my good price.....i offered rm90k now, you should give me your car within 2days.....omg!
Still not edding yet......i ask her can give me few days or till end of january? She say my car value will drop again......thn keep on asking when u give booking? (actually i do bring my money to pay booking since my wife agreed) So, i ask her can just give me a minute? (i would like to think when i can delivered my car to the used car dealer) She say..........."Not enough money don't buy BMW"
This my bad story from Autobavaria.......I really dissapointed as you are represented from BMW!
I understand i mignt not rich, but i do hard earn money to buy my dream car but got this kind stupid service, perhaps during i buy my toyota mark x was rm180k in 3yrs back......do you think i unable to own the rm289k?
After this issued i spoke to my good friend (ppl racun me buy bmw) he ask me bring this issue in the forum.....bcos autobavaria management was in this forum.
*Please do respect ppl no matter they willing to buy or not to buy at this moment, showroom was the place to show your products, if you feel that your product too expensive or premium, please put the notice in front the door gate "no money don't come in"

Understand your predicament bro. This is the first time I have heard of such incident happening in AB KL. Rest assured I will highlight this with the Principal soonest.

It's not the Company/Dealer in most cases.
It's the sales people that make the difference. No point finger pointing at AB or whoever as I believe they are some who has good reviews from there.
It's the attitude of these sales people that actually ruin the brand of the company/dealer.
If you have set your heart out on a BMW, don't fret..take your time, I believe they are many here who can recommend you a good sales person.

Very2 true bro. Usually it takes only one "bad apple" to spoil the whole bunch. Sad but thats the reality at times. Hope AB KL will address this issue immediately.

I too went to AB glenmarie first then got it from Quill...but in ma case not becoz being ignored ...its just I feel more welcome at Quill

If go to AB KL, look for Siti Rasyidah. Bought my car from her, she is okay.

I called up AB Glenmarie before I bought my car from Quill. I quoted Quill's price to me and AB Glenmarie told me to go buy from Quill. Then I deliberately went to quill in a 20 year old proton in tshirt, jeans and slippers. The SA still rush out to greet me.

At the end of the day Quill threw in an additional 5 year BRSI for free.

It is indeed sad to see such things happening in this current day and age...its the mentality of the SA and to a certain extend the responsibility of the management to give proper training to their SA. The management also have to take all complaints and feedback positively and act on a complaint immediately, no matter how small. This would enable them to weed out the bad apple(s) thus maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Alot of miilionaires and dare i say billionaires dress down when they are in public so please dont judge a book by its covers...wallet tebal ok...hahaha.

Anyway, a thank you to Wearnes Autohaus for posting thier apology here in public.

And yes, there are many BMW dealers to choose from so please take your time and see who you are most comfortable with.

I was in the market for the new F30 and went to the AB in Jalan Tun Razak. Walked into the showroom, look around at the cars on display and I was ignored. (Maybe because I was wearing t-shirt and faded jeans ??!!) In the end after a long time waiting around, I asked the receptionist to speak to a salesman and was attended to by someone.

It is sad for this to happen in this day and age when getting new customer is so very important. More so when you are selling a premium brand costing lots of money. I was not too happy with the experience and has since gone to Wearnes Autohaus in Segambut and have booked my car there.

I think AB management should take note and do something about it. In my opinion, many new potential BMW owner will go to AB first when buying BMW but end up buying from another dealer because of bad treatment. To many people, the AB name is synonymous with BMW.

to be fair to AB KL , not all bad lar , i brought my f10 there in tshirt , short and pasar malam slipper. walk in to see if F10 ok or not, within 5 min got SA entertain me ,ask me to test drive which i kindly decline. as i done a test drive at ingress earlier but was not happy test car in comfort mode, not allow to go sport mode ) . so give name card then evaluate my car was given a low ball no. SA say he try to get other outside dealer to give me better price. Unfortunately to be fair 2nd hand car dealer only care about the manufacturing year . what ever accessory add on is no value to them when they give value. in fact you can buy cheap mod from 2nd hand car dealer , rim for 1k with swap etc etc.

the different between Msport different price is because in the JPJ grant MSPORT is written there and bank valuation is 30K higher for msport model vs non msport model for loan.

back to the SA, after 1 day of consideration he call me to sweeten the deal by offering me good freebies, got my sales. my only gripe is the aftersale services is bad thus swap to quil to do service.
