At the Salzburgring :)

Attended the Instructor Performance Training at the Salzburgring, what a track. Classic track which means its narrow with little run off areas and plenty of high speed bend corners. 1. Our daily driving machine from the hotel to the track

3. Instructors from all over the world, total 12 of us. On the far left is Claudiu David, the professional rally driver from Romania. Fastest guy amongst all of us.

4. This is our "daily car" on the track

5. Getting ready before our first ever lap on the track! Yes there are 23 ///M3s on the track!

6. It is a scenic race track, with the track located at the valley.

7.After the first day, upon reaching the hotel we saw this MINI!

8. And it is driven by Aaltonen!! The famous Finnish Rally Champion that started BMW Driver Training! Waited for him but didnt get to see him.

Took some video will upload it when I am back in KL. Took a drive today from Munich to Prague (Praha) and spent EU100 for diesel!.
Anyway well worth it as it is a very beautiful city, more so if you like architecture

1) At MarienPlatz, Munich a must visit place in the summer.

2) At Salzburg,

The castle high up was once the mightiest fortress in Europe, Festung Hohensalzburg. Built more than 900 years ago.

On the way back to the Airport, drop by to see the place where it all started, they call it the FTZ = Fahrer Trainings Zentrum.

1. At the Entrance

2. Simple and permanent structure, theory classes are conducted here, BMW, Motorrad and Mini

3. Stephan whom was with us in Salzburg conducting the Compact Driver Training for young drivers.

4. The Emergency Avoidance Exercise, with speed cameras

5. As usual, the first exercise, double handed slalom with the hangar at the back

6. It is located at the old airport, so plenty of planes at the background

7. There is a built-in sprinkler system as well to simulate wet road condition, all at a push of a button

8. There is a fleet of ///M3s as well!
