30th March initial recommended itinerary

BC - Our friends from ECB are coming over on the Friday before the AGM. Can you suggest a place where we can meet for Ampang TT on 30th March?
Several places can be recommended depending on the needs and where our friends would be staying [i guess this one isn't one of the strongest criteria!]...
1. There's
Changkir @ Ampang Jaya for an unassuming lepak place with piped in 70s and 80s music where the collection of Malaysian local coffee is 'mated' beautifully with either charcoal fired toasted bread [or steamed depending on your preference] served with Parisian butter and homemade kaya. Parking is ample.
2.
Nailis is another favorite Ampangite watering hole. Depending on the cycle of the celestial moon, the views here can sometimes take one's breath away. The chef's recommendations would be boiled tapioca with homemade sambal, fried batter and anchovies fritters with hot Thai sauce and other local Malaysian fare. Western food is also in the menu. Parking here would be ample to Ampang standards.
3. The
Beach Club @ Jalan P Ramlee/Jalan Sultan Ismail intersection is another water hole, tho' of a different kind, 'butt' offering fantastic views all night. No recommendations on the menu is available. Then again, why in the name of Aphrodite would you wanna eat here! Also, parking can be a fook! And I mean the both types of parking... Although roadside parking for your cars is possible with disastrous results such as being towed away by the municipality.
4. For wanting to rub shoulders with the glamorous KLite, there is of course the 'cafe row' of
Pavilion @ Star Hill. This covered 'street' offers numerous watering holes and cafes, from sumptuous Mediterranean tapas to Brazilian connoisseur coffees. Cigar lovers would appreciate this place for its strategically placed Queen Anne sofas as the best seat in the house. Parking is easy peasy, lemon squeezey - just pay when you exit as you would normally do.
I believe the above would be sufficient for the time being. Please do not hesitate to contact me, either via this thread or through my personal cell for any other assistance you may require.
Thank you for your interest to visit us and we hope be seeing you soon.
PS. There is this place at Mui Plaza also along Jln P Ramlee, but thats another story...
