320i or 325i? msport or not? idrive or not? lci or not?

Hi guys,thinking to upgrade my old e46 to e90. Those questions are playing in my mind. e90 onwers,kindly comments the pro n contra of each spec. My budget is below rm150k. The cheaper the better.

even thought I drive the older e46...but mine is Msport edition. If you can afford the slight premium go for it. The better and firmer handling gives better confidence. But ride maybe a little firmer than most would like it.

Basically its up to you, test a few units and see if you can handle and like the firmer ride or not. I was told the E90 Msport ride is harsher than e46s...not too sure as I haven't compare but then again E46s are older so age may have soften the abs somewhat.

It's unfair to compare the 320 and the 325 or an MSport with a non MSport. Go for the 325 MSport if budget permits and also if you want a good handling car. Take the 320 non MSport if you want to just enjoy owning the brand ...

Msport, LCI and iDrive if possible,i am not too sure whether it will be available below the budget.
I have the former two not the latter.

My friend want to sell me a few months old E90 325i Msport mileage less than 10,000km at RM200k and I also have another option ie. new F30 320i at RM238k.
I know both cars has it pros & cons
E90 325i (cons) - 2nd hand, high bank interest, old gen, expensive roadtax, high petrol consumption, bad resell value in
future / (pros) lower car price, full spec Msport, Idrive with navi, 18" RIM, in-line 6 NA engin means silk smooth.

F30 320i (pros) - brand new car, low bank interest, latest 3er gen, lower roadtax, less petrol consumption / (cons) high car price, non-MSport, cacat Idrive no navi, 17" RIM, engin noise & tons of quality issue in F30 now.

If u in this situation, which car u will choose? Appreciate sifu here can share some opinion with me b4 I make this important decision. Thank you.

Mine also msport. but i regret buying it. i think better buy non msport and use the extra money to slam in bils b8 with h&r spring n change anti roll bar.

spex,if i were u, definitely will go for f30. because e90 resell value will depreciate a lot after f30 recond available in msia.

not really, end of life cycle discounts is always worth it. Dont forget that the E90 being offred from BMW Premium selections are all full spec with navigation, widescreen idrive, msport etc, while the brand new F30 320i is VERY base spec....no navi, no msport, small idrive etc

I have a E9x and just bought a F30 for my mom, as a E9x owner, i dont consider the F30 320i a "real" upgrade to existing drivers of msport E90's. If you have never owned a BMW b4, i would look at BOTH b4 deciding, is getting a newer model worth spending RM45k more? thats extra 2 years of loan....

also your question about msport/non msport etc...only YOU can answer the Q, no one else would know what you like.

as of today i have a few frens looking at both F30 and E90...i know BMW has 2012 e90 320i for 195k and 2012 F30 328i for 260k (8k milege, demo car)

Go for 320d msport if you r the type who think differently from the majority. Try to get with the i drive which is the 184hp. The engine is the same as f30 320d. I think you can get around 160k. After that you will be driving with a smile for a long time.
