Guys, can somebody confirms these are people who are attending...Need to finalize to make customise nametags for identification. Cut-off date is 19th Oct.

Note: For those who are attending the AGM without registering will get hand written nametag.

62 registered plus 6 guest and 1 maybe.= 69 person
those paid = 32 (42.71 %)

remove nelson 30 from No. 60 as his name appear in No. 38

1) This club's success and value is in the hands of it's members

2) The past, current and future commitee is brought into office by YOUR votes

3) VOte on the basis of capability and NOT popularity.

4) The club belongs to the members, make it or break it, it's in your hands

5) Life is too short, let's keep things simple and focused.

Anyway, good luck to all nominees and remember the new committee will be the "face" of the club.

hello, u guys were given ample notice in advance to nominate, n candidates were informed much earlier to confirm yer nomination/ withdrawal. now how democratic u want the club to be eh? heh.

Mr. A : we get all dat remarks all the time, be it in a small institution (forum, clubs) or a big one i.e a country ... nevaendin marrr ....

Well, it's obvious that the problem is that the vast majority of the members of this club do not have a vested interest in the club... hence, why the hell do they care who gets voted into office? I mean, most just attend TTs and wait for some keen members to organise an "event". They don't contribute, and dare I say, they don't really care either.

(BTW, that goes for me too, I'm not critising anyone, just stating an observation of mine.)

Great news guys. I spoke to my client (CASTROL) and managed to secure some sponsorships for our AGM. They will be sponsoring quite a few goodies as door gifts and lucky draw prizes. Good stuff and I was told they're limited edition. However, we have limited quanitity and the goodies will have to be given out based on first come first served basis. So, pls be punctual to collect your goodie bag!

For your information, only members who pay to attend will be entitled to a goodie bag.
