from my opinion, your tyre size is very odd. who recommended u to use that size? y only 10mm difference for the rear? usually they will use 235/40/18 front & 255/35/18 rear or 225,235,245/40/18 all round. but to be very sure, compare your original factory fitted tyre size with online tyre calculator to determine the correct upgrade (keep between the 3% rule of tyre upgrading, the nearer to 0% the better). anyway, it might be other factor that effect your current problem. also, get a set of sport spring such as H&R or Eibach to lower your ride coz it looks like the cat will have a very comfortable place to snooze around

I used to use 235/40/18 rear with 8.5" ET35 - occasional rubbing. Then changed to 255/35/18 slightly better but still rub sometimes. So, I guess it is the wheel offset not the tire.

what is your rims width and offset?? it looks like 5series rims that you are using.

seems like you've put e90 rims on your e46...

cannot fit lah - offsets are very different ... won't fit even if you roll your fenders.

dear all
thanks a lot for the comments and opinion.
yes that rim is for 5 series rims..and the offset mot suitabale accoeding to tyre shop.
i just trade in the rim and tyre to that shop and change to 18" rims bbs (for 3 series).
and this solve my problem

Wow which shop recommended you to use the 5 series rims? That's terrible..

Use back 3 series rim is better . . who suggest you to use those 5 series rim ? ? ? you need to do some body knocking or custom wide body if u use 5 series rim in ur 3

hi jefrrey and simonso
hahaha people who think they are expert in UDM advice me to use that rims.
erm...i ya lah..i`m still new in UDM and i believe he very expert in UDM but hampehhhhhhh....
but never mind problem solve already after change to new rim...
bro where you stay...maybe i can join you for TT ?

I'm also using this rims and couple with H&R lower spring, Silverstone FTZ sports tyre 235/40/R18 (F) & 245/40/R18 (R). So far no problem!

Here's my ride.:1:

Did you get your rim changed for free ? ? ? haha . . Why not do a little bit of wide body haha . . It look realy good haha

I will get FOC if I swap with stock rim..!!

No decision in full wide bodykit, next plan could be side skirting & front bumper lips.

Better save some money for tyre..!!
