HI TO ALL SIFU , im looking forward to buy a e46 buy im not sure with all the models . the 98 & 99 e46 318 looks relatively cheap compared to the other models .. i need advice on which model is good .and worth the money after purchase... and how is the FC for the car .... i just saw a e46 which is 40,000 for 98 /./ all stock standard .. pls advice . thank alot .

better double check the car condition and also the chassis number.
year 98 E46 should be a pre-facelift. facelift model should be around 80 - 90k for 2nd hand, and around 120k for re-con.

If possible, post some of the info here so that other forumers can give you some advice.

which model to buy??? it depends on personal preference and budget.
all of them are good in their own way. test drive the different models and see which one gives you kick.

fuel consumption wise, not much difference if the car is well maintained.

U can not get contact with the 1st car seller, trust me. Even if he reply u, he will say the car currently now in UK. :smokin:

Just recently bought E46... 2000/2004. means that car manufactured at 2000 and registered in Malaysia 2004.. my ride coming from UK and made in Germany.. price only 74k mileage 80kmiles = around 120km

so please u need to check the grant and request for AP documents.. u can see from where it from.. using which agent and u can event see their earlier grant from the origin country

ok.. from your website:

1. 99/ 02 (RM69k)... manufactured 99 and registed in malaysia 2002..this unit must be from europe.. u can see at the speedometer .. mentioned 'MILES'... mileage not 134km.. but 134miles !! = 220km++. Old gearbox.. not tiptronic...price wise... bit expensive for 1999 model

2. 1999 (RM66k)..i believed this is local CKD unit... but old gearbox.. w/o tiptronic... price wise...66k around market price...

3. 1998 (RM40k)... this is CBU unit but u need to check is it direct from factory to malaysia or not... u need to see the grant at the back ... "IMPORT BARU" or.. "IMPORT TERPAKAI" ... nevertheless.. 40K maybe because of the age & manual transmission.
