Which is a better buy 325i vs 330i?

Bornfree ... The 325 is a 218hp 2.5 liter engine. The 328 is a 218hP 3 liter engine. The 325 is almost maxed out, whilst the 328 can still kick out a good 40+ horses with the right mods. You can find that on the net. US market is mainly the 328.

The coupe has its looks, some prefer that than a sedan. Me I prefer the sedan for its daily practicality and I like the looks of the e90 more than the e92. It's a personal preference. It all depends on what you want.

Frankly speaking the last 2 week I have been browsing Mudah and was making a comparison of the 325, 328, 330
they range between 40-70k, just wanna ask between 325 and 328, which would be a better buy? for the moment I have skipped the 330 when it comes to the Road Tax,
On another note would like to ask whats so exclusive about 2 door compared to the Sedan, one thing for sure they are highly priced. thanks

Bro, between 325 and 328 and 330i:

325: M54B25 (2.5liters) with 192bhp

328: M52B28/M52TUB28 (2.8liters) with 190bhp

330: M54B30 (3liters) with 231bhp.

Since you said 330i is out due to road tax, my guess is the 325i should be the better bet, newer car, newer drive by wire M54 engine, more power than the 328i, half the road tax (RM1600++ for the 328, RM880++ for the 325).

Most of the e46 328 series comes with the 2000 or 2001 manufacture year, and they have the CI (2doors) whereas the 325 is mainly sedan models, what izzit in terms of maintenence and parts to maintain.

Yes you are correct about the torque i.e 245Nm versus 280Nm, but I stand by the HP that I stated earlier as those are figures published by BMW (190 and 192). Anyway whats 2-3 bhp gonna differ in daily driving around town.
