Ok assuming one want to import a car from UK, he would need an AP. I have read that there are companies that can import specific cars. What are the criteria to import recon cars? Should the cars be under 5 years, whatelse? Now £12,000 would be around RM80,000. What abt taxes and freight? Thanks

if u r seriously thinking about importing, i recommend u look at japan cars instead. they usually have significantly less mileage and I believe it's cheaper too

Thks man. I've pretty much decided to get a 330Ci in a couple of years.

Just exploring my options. It all depends on whats available then.

I've spoken to some of my Japanese clients and they confirm the fact that Japanese cars dont have very high mileage as they seemed to be used mainly over the weekends. I also understand that after 3 yrs all cars need to undergo a comprehensive inspection. A lot of owners dispose their cars around this time. So I guess getting a Japanese car with under 50000km shouldnt be a problem. My only concern is the radio reception.

dun worry about the radio, just need a setting change. Once u get one, bring it to kl, i sort that one out for you FOC :top:

Hi Shaifulo,

I hope u can help me solve my "On Board Navigation" problem. I bought a fully CBU E46 from Naza last year n i ask a couple of accessories shop to help me set my "Navigation Unit" to work in Malaysia. They reply me it's is not possible to activate the Navigation system or play "dvd". It this true? What r d option i have to get it running.
Thks.
Jack

Are recond Japanese BMWs all came with 180km/h Speedometer like Estima/ Alphard.....?

of course mileage lower, they help you lower the mileage. Anyone can do that with special computer software and some experience, especially imported recon cars, do you think everyone is so likely to drive so little.

Japanese spec BMW's don't come with much fancy interior and specifications. Most of them look pretty look very basic, that is why you can always tell on the road whether its a jap spec or local.
