I would like to send my car for polish & wax. I used to send my previous car (non-bimmer) to Cars International at shopping malls but have been advised not to. Some of my friends recommended MacGyver? Isn't that a show????Any recommendations of where they do a good job in Shah Alam, Subang, PJ? And not so mahal? Thanks.

Bro,
They are referring to Meguair's. Go to their detailing centre at USJ1 (i think). Their number is 03-80244594. ask for Mr.Johan Wong. U won't be disappointed.

Grace, MacGyver, you are absolutely right...its a TV series back in the 90s.
Its Meguiar, sister, that does car polishing & waxing.

Whaaaa if women ask help all the croc are trying the best. Hello darling drive 1 series polish want cheap, dont la like that what the guys have purpose are all good stuff. Believe me you wont be disappointed.:top:

You can also try Imola Auto Spa at Desa Sri Hartamas. They only use Meguiars too.

Yup did my car there, immaculate job but a bit pricy .

Yeah, their standard price is quite pricey but try negotiating. They can give discounts. I found the discounted price they offered me quite ok cos they employ foreign workers who have been well trained to do the hard work. Yet again, I only went to them once cos I do everything myself now and find that I save a lot of money. It's also fun. However, when I do go to them for a simple car wash, I find they do it immaculately. Without discount, that's a whopping RM20 per wash and vacuum but I got discount card now which gives me a free wash for every 3 I have to pay i.e. average price of RM15 per wash and vacuum. Still expensive but they do a thorough job.

hahahhahhahha...I rolled on the floor and almost died laughing...MacGyver to wash & polish your car...wei if McGyver not free Ronald McDonald can ah?:burnout:

BTW, I don't mean to gloat or anything but every place I go to relating to my car, I don't just ask discount for myself but for BMW Club. This works well with workshops cos they appreciate the good testimony for doing a good job. So, if all of us do the same, everyone benefits starting with yourself. If the workshops can see tangible benefits in terms of numbers, then there's avenue to get even better prices. Sometimes I wonder is there a need for a Committee to do this when we ordinary members or forummers can also do this to benefit the community.

Halo.....bro, you mean like this ah.....:24:?
:girl: :dontknow: mah........

Haiyo..... dun so like that lah. Ppl dunno de name mah..... not everyone 'Car Crazy'.

Glare in Klang area. Shop around Jusco area.

Harry Bright in Taman Mayang.

Price usually depend on the package and condition of the paint.

eg. If your paint is relatively new and need minimal touchup, then the cost for "treatment" should be minimal. However, if your paint have already lost its glossy look or faded, then the cost would be higher as it involved more process and treatment to bring the paint back to its "original" glory.

There are alot of thread on polishing. Try searching for "detailing".

Woi, how am I to know so much about cars? Gelak pulak. Ask me about handbags & shoes can lah.

Anyway, thanks for the info everyone.

Hey guys,

I drove past Taman Mayang today and Harry Bright seems to have gone. The store sign and the business has gone. In its place is a workshop (yet another one).

Does anyone know where HB has gone?
