i spoke legal person in kpdnhep tribunal and he advised me to file a report against the used car. accordingly, i can claim all my repairs done and going to do (get a quotation)

Here's what is needed to be done
1. Proof of the mileage has been tampered
2. State suffering from this action
3. Gather receipts and quotation
4. File claim
5. Max claim RM 25,000.00

firstly, ask our lawmakers if its a crime to adjust mileage in our country? i bet you will have no answer to this.. plus its a used car! so likesaid astroboy, the dealer will just say he got the car like this..how? you want to sue the previous owner? so i dont think you have a case here! ... im not trying to be negative here, but used car dealers are champions and yes they get away wt murder especially here in bolehland...

in short, your argument will be...
1. proof of "who" tampered mileage?

by all means if you have the resource's, go nail them... but im sure you know the hassle...

cheers:top:

Tempering with mileage is not new here. They have been doing it way before u learn how to crawl.

In fact I did once too.. my old Sentra slapped on with a CA16 twin cam red head, siblings of the legendary CA18 Nissan 180SX drift machine engine.. my mileage was 170k km when I sold the car. Common sense tells me who in their right mind would buy a 170k km mileage car?! So I took out the odo meter and rotated the "1" to "0".. viola! only 70k km .. :24:

The new owner was so happy the car has ever since makan Satria GTI like sayur!

A friend of mine took the vin no before buying his e46 M3, called uk bmw and check the mileage...about 70,000 miles and the car had about 20,000 miles in KL....terus canx.... and the salesman got angry why he check....how stupid is that

the cost???? phone call to UK

Low mileage UK cars doesnt exist...or at least very rare. 3-4 years old car would normally have 50-60k miles already thats normal here.

Basically if the car is from UK, 3 years and above but have a very low mileage, smells very fishy to me. Japanese car on the other hand could be true with the low mileage since they drive very rarely.
