WAX......what do you use?

Just wondering what brand/kind of wax do you guys use on your rides?What I have used:1) Zymol - good shine and finish but does not last long in our temperate climate. Do not wait for the wax to dry, it will be hell to buff off! Work a panel at a time.(organic wax)2) Swissol - blardy brilliant! esp on dark colors! Easy on, easy off!(organic/synthetic blend)3) Eagle One - very user friendly with only slightly above results.....(organic/synthetic blend)4) Meguiar's Gold Class - highly recommended for BLACK cars!(organic/synthetic blend)5) Meguiar's NXT Tech wax - excellent depth with a good shine and outstanding protection. (synthetic polymer)6) Meguiar's No. 16 - Pure Carunba Wax......really good stuff!(organic wax)I am currently using Meguiar's No. 16 and I wax my ride every month for general maintainence.

Was using some "premium" waxes from some brand that i forgot... was ok to apply, but dont last...

Now using Meguair's Gold Class Wax, ok stuff. Bought at premium marked by at Japanese auto-parts shop in Satu-U.

Wanna try NXT next purchase.

Zymol and meguair's gold class. mainly on zymol. it will give a longer shine if you rub it until its gone. tiring work but worth it.

Apply your wax of choice with this machine and buff off by hand. You can do the whole car in under 1 hour.

autoglym - used on my old perdana. good shine but abrasive type. Watch out those plastic trims!

For my udm i use:
P21S car shampoo to wash once a week

Zymol clay bar - to remove those contaminants. Pretty OK but I found the clay a bit hard though. Not easy to mold. I use this only when i want to polish the car.

P21S Body polish - very fine rubbing compound. Helps remove minor scracthes. Pretty easy to use

klasse AIO - acrylic based. Easy to apply and it works on all parts of the car. cleans, lightly polishes and protects the paint. Stands for 5-6 months

Klasse sealant glaze - works with klasse AIO and again its a sealant. Few layer gives you additional acrylic protection.

P21S carnauba Wax - Final touch for depth and clarity. I use this once a month. ppl claimed Carnauba based always give the best shine but somehow i dont see the different. probably because mine is silver.



Im looking for SONAX products. Anybody knows where i can get em?

Don't bother with Sonax products if you are using Klasse as you will be dissapointed.

BTW, I have sampled both Klasse products that you are using and they ROCK!

klasse producst are easy to apply and easy to buff off. Thats why ive chosen them. I know zymol has greater shine but applying them is a kill and darn expensive!! which zymol product have u used? I wonder how much they sell the zymol z3 Glaze which specially formulated for Z3!

How abt Zaino? have you tried em?

How abt Zaino? have you tried em?

I use NXT tech wax. Personally I think its a good wax easy to apply and wipe off. But my problem is with water marks at the door area.

Was using gold class wax, started using NXT 2 months back. love the results on it.
going to try some Zaino gear as i hear/see what it does to dark coloured cars. to die for!

It truly imparts a 'wet' look to your paint surface!

u guys use a polisher? dont u get swirl marks all over? a fren uses zymol and he uses bare hands to apply the wax as per the instructions! i guess his hands must be shining too! wicked!!

If you use the correct pads with the correct technique then there will be no swirls. Most important tip is not to run the pad till it's dry, cos then there will be nothing between the pad and the paint surface.

Most run the pad on the surface till the product dries as they kenot wait to see the results. Let the product do the work, not the machine. It is just a tool. Buff off the residual products with a microfibre towel and you should be swirl free!

have been thinking to have one long time ago....

but not sure whether using machine is a good way or not...
coz just don wanna see the swirl on the pain work after polish...
