Your knowledge about e39 SO VERY VERY DEEP so you gave me the impression you are driving an M5. So some showed me link to M5 board.

I hereby appoint tweiboon as the spokeman for Coconut oil applications for BMW cars. Tweiboon is also authorised to further develop and test said Coconut oil in his car. So OK now green light you can put into your car!!

I shown the M5 board because it shown where the brake pump is and my brake pump same with the picture. So if u confused y my car use this brake pump then u need to ask BMW liao.........................hahahahahahahahahahah

I don't understand u, you just brought an E39 couple of months ago, Started telling us how u enjoy the ride and now u pose a statement to forummers to discouraged them from owing an E39 just because cannot buy second hand crucial parts for the car.

A few pointers for you to consider;
a) I DON'T purchase second hand CRUCIAL parts for my E39;
B) if an E39 driver always drive at 110kph and move left when being flash by a myvi, better he sell it off because the myvi driver will go to a public area and laugh and mock at ALL E39 owners, and that includes ME;
C) do u read and understand well? Because the newspaper say govt may stop importation of all vehicles crucial second hand parts, did it mention only BMW second hand parts , especially E39?

Food for your thoughts.

I wonder can we still get full loan for a 97-98 year 525i? :39:

Dreaming of owning one.

You cannot even get a loan because there were no 525i yet, only 523i for those years :4:

Edit: Damn I'm late.

Wow. Din't read the whole topic don't know this is a debate. To be honest, I have an E36 with 1jz. And to tell the truth, I want my M43B18 back. Is like sleeping with a beautifull bapok. No more passion. :21:

Well put, by the owner himself. Now we know how it feels.

I'll quote this one day.

Dude... i drive on highways at 110kph and let speeding myvi's overtake. I have no qualms speeding on the highway if someone picks up the summonses for me. My route to work on the highway always has speed traps.

But i agree with your points on buying the 2nd hand parts.... if its crucial, should but new.

Yes...... BMW luxury car is not designed for speed. e39 cost that much also not because it could runs faster. If owning a BMW car just for meaning to drive faster on the road, then what can i say is --> no wonder so many accidents on Malaysia road...............hahahahha

Brader,

I attended a so called BMW AGM last saturday, was so pissed off, return home, suffered a heart attack, admitted to SJMC in the same evening, did a balloon and was discharged on Tuesday. Today, someone wrote that BMW was not designed for speed, I think I am going to suffer a 2nd heart attack again. May I also inform you that accidents happens become of lane hotggers, incompetence drivers, failure of car parts and slippery road conditions. I guess the highest rate of accident happens, not on a normal day but on days the the govt impose 110kph, don't believe me? Check the number of accidents during the festive seasons where everyone is driving approximate 110kph, compare the rate of accident to a normal day and you will get a statistic.
