Hi guys!! Is there a different between a 235/40/17 and a 245/40/17??If I have a 245/40/17 can i change the new tyre to 235/40/17???Please advise........thank you banyak banyak!!!I am a noob in tech aspect.

235/40/17 has a width of 235mm and 40% of 235mm is the height of the sidewall. Changing to a 245/40 would mean wider and higher tyres. Usually you would want 245/35 instead of 40 to keep your speedometer accurate.

Definitely 245/40 would be more expensive.
