Found this pic on E90post of the new BMW Performance Wheel for the LCI E90. Look lightweight. Also notice the new CF splitter design on the new M sport bodykit. Not bad leh.

Ok so anyone want to join me to order some of these performance items from Stuttgart? Maybe we can get slightly better pricing. How about next week sometime? I will be out of town this weekend.

JPB, there's a thread here with feedback and some beautiful pics of the install.

Hey guys-
Got my performance intake last night...installed it today. Install was pretty straight forward, had to decipher a few new pieces, as I had no instructions with it. I did learn something from the design which is not apparent from looking at pictures. The intake draws air from the front, using the same scoops above the radiator as the stock unit. What is different is that it is also pulling cold air from the base of the windshield...pretty damn trick! They have engineered this so that it is completely sealed from warm air from the engine bay. It took me a few minutes fit the new pieces together, but when I did, I realized the engineering that went into this. It is definitely more than just a pretty carbon fiber duct.
Now for the ride report. Initial start-up reveals slightly more sound, with the hood open you can her the vacuum sound , sounds faintly like the sound a turbo makes when under boost. Drive...throttle response definitely improved, engine pulls cleanly off the bottom, 4000rpm comes and goes quickly, all the way redline, pulls the like a beast. Butt dyno says the engine is definitely pulling harder...feels a little faster. Engine singing a beautiful song...damn!
Did some cruising on the same highway I use every day, watching mpg, looks like maybe one mpg better on the gas mileage...hmm.

Btw, I'm planning to go to Stuttgart on 20/12 (the day of our annual dinner), probably in the morning. Want to come, and maybe order your Performance stuff? :)

The facelifted bodykit and new BMW Performance Wheels looks fantastic! Love the sound of the performance exhaust as well.

Awesome.

I love the new wheels... wonder how much it cost?

Hey guys... my first posting here... wanna check whether my SA is telling the truth...

Is it true that:
1) the M-sport steering cannot be fitted into the standard E90 325i?
Was told that the module and wiring are different and can only fit into the Sport model.
2) in order to fit the BMW Performance carbon suspension cross-brace, you have to upgrade the entire suspension system first, which cost RM7K+. Doesn't make sense to me!

Thanks in advance for sharing... and you guys have a great & joyful new year ya!:wink:

You should call BMW voice and let them know the name of the SA and what he/she told you and ask them for a clarification ;) I guess SA's are sales animals and not technical and hence they are doing what they are doing best. For tech advise, wrong fellas to consult. BMW voice is a good option.

1) is true if you take the M sport steering with paddle shifters. I.e. the paddle shifters will not work without some custom wiring job on a std E90 325i. If its a std M Sport steering without paddle shifters it fits directly. A few members here have done the mod as well. Even the airbag module is identical with the sport steering on the std 325i, so you don't need a new airbag.
For 2) what doesn't make sense to me is that the BMW performance carbon strut brace cost almost as much as the entire sports suspension setup. LOL. But its a fine piece of accessory. The BMW performance alum strut brace is significantly cheaper.

phewww.... was worried run out of options to mod my standard 325i...

Thanks E46Fanatic... you have brighten my new year day...

The only mod in my ride now is M aluminium pedals from Redzone... Was thinking of ori ACS initially but the damage is too steep for a mere metal plate...

Next eyeing for:
1) M sport steering
2) BMW Performance air intake
3) BMW Performance suspension cross brace
hmmm... better stop daydream now and start saving... hehehe...

Anyone got suggestions on any good deals for the above mods... appreciate if could post here for the benefit of the club members...

I suppose these original accessories wont affect the warranty?

And wonder how much is the BMW Performance wheels as shown in the video of new 3 series?... look awesome especially with the BMW Performance brake calipers...:wink:

Have a great 2009 ya!

Hi Guys,
This was posted in another thread but haven't got much respond... So maybe I got it into a wrong thread or something....

Please kindly advise me on the following picture below... what do you think is it...

Looks like a 3D Studie lip. Not sure if its a replica or original, but Spaceman has the real deal installed in Singapore. I think its about Rm4k if I am not mistaken.

Hi E46Fanatic,

Have you heard of 3D Design before? This is the first time I am seeing it... Who is Spaceman by the way.... can you PM me his contact..
