V3s have been out for a while. There are three variants of KWs, v1, v2 and v3. They differ in terms of adjustability

i think if you wait for the V2 to drop in price, you could have probably sold your car already...Euro is still running strong against Ringgit, price increase is foreseen.:listen:

With 8.5J fronts and 9.5J rear rim widths, its a perfect offset for the E90 which shouldn't require any fender rolling.

Yeah a slightly lower drop will look awesome like DY's car hehe. Interested in a group buy of KW V2 coilovers?

Bro,
i tot you already found a good source of the V2? tat's really good deal...you wont find tat kind of price in M'sia..

Hahaha... u are right man. By the time the price drop, it's time for you to drop your car too

And I don't think so V2 is selling at RM 2k. Could someone confirm this.

We are still confirming the price and no of units... The more I read about experiences with the V2's the more eager I am to get them on my car. Can't wait hehe. Those interested can PM me for details.

Some discussions on the KW V2's can be found here:

Does 320i use the same KW V2 as 325i? Many good reviews on KW V2 but all are from either 330i or 325i la.. :(

Ride height would not be an issue because the coil over is adjustable but what about ride quality?

Anybody can share..??

Check out the link I posted above :). One of the main reasons I choose KWs over other options is the rave reviews from owners about the excellent ride quality. Better than stock yet improved handling and fully adjustable in dampening. Sounds good to me. I have a sensitive butt, so I'll go with the more compliant ride settings. Spaceman/Meinauto can provide more feedback as they have it on their rides.

Also the KWs on these cars:

are fitted on the 2 ltr 4 potters 320Si engines.

yep, in fact i was so prepared to take the downside of having coilovers into my ride being harsh and uncomfortable. but i was wrong! its in fact better than stock setup with RFTs. But again, i must say that tyres choice plays a big role too.

those fitted on FIA WTCC are the KW V3. They are better coz of the rebound and dampening adjustability which is most ideal for tracking.

Those in touring championship cars I strongly believe is not standard factory produced suspension la, be it V2 or V3. Those are works team and I believe they are on special fabricated parts la. Spring rating must be at least 3 times stiffer than road car to withstand that kind of abuse... too harsh for road car day to day use nia.

I don't believe those cars are on either V2 or V3.. 300hp car nia..

BTW, what is 320si? Same as our 320i or not? :D

yeah, i believe those on WTCC cars are custom moded V3 similar shocks and springs to cater for the wider track width front and rear. 320si is a lot more powerful 2.0l engine than the normal 320i 150bhp.

I'm using V2 in my MCS and can confirmed that it rides better than stock suspension without compromising on handling. Highly recommended.:top:

Pro kit is good for low budget lowering your ride. i find the Pro-kit drop is not lowered much in the rear, the front is ok.

anybody bought anything (especially rims) from ModBargains (the USA site)?

rims miro m6 reps plus delivery sans tires are around USD1200.

any cheaper alternative in malaysia?

And any idea how much does shops take in the Style 158 rims with tires?
