Hey guys..... Gong Xi Fa Cai.... drive safely for those who travels outstation. Enjoy the festival :D

Just put on the Volk Progressiv ME's on my car. I love them... but now, it doesn't look right with the stock ride height... Sigh this mod thing never seems to end!

Also got the M Mobility Kit (flat tyre repair kit) to complement the non RFTs on the car and its quite impressive, as it comes in a nice BMW case, with gloves, manuals, pump, sealant etc. I guess it was targeted towards new M owners who do not have a spare and are not used to getting their hands dirty haha.

Will take some pics and post them soon. Initial impressions, is that braking has improved (most noticable) with the car feeling a lot less lazy and instead agile with the lighter wheels (8-9kgs each) and lighter non-RFTs. Will also be monitoring the FC with the new lighter wheels.

Congrats bro E46F! Your ride got some new shoes, just in time for CNY :top:
Can't wait for your pics...

How much is the M Mobility Kit btw?

I bought it off a guy who had bought an extra set for a friend from overseas who didn't turn up to collect it. I paid SGD220 which is ~Rm500. The packing box was still sealed when I got it and the guy was holding it for a couple of months. I got lucky I guess lol.

Shucks! Can we do a group buy here since so many are now using non-RFTs or planning to change to non-RFTs. Looking forward to seeing your new wheels, E46F!

I'll be in that group buy bro JPB..
Already picked up a couple of nails since i made the switch..
Better get one before my luck runs out!

Happy New Year to all my bros here to..
Safe journey to all those who are making the trip home..

He has manyak lobang ma.. :D he earned it.. we all tak cukup lobang :D Kawan S'pore gua manyak jugak tapi semua kerja kilang naik MRT.. :D

I suggest don't take picture now of your car until it is slammed down. I can imagine E46F's E90 would looked tippy toe now.. :D

The BMW M Mobility kit comes in a box with the date of manufactured stamped on it (sealant can expire). Inside the nice casing with BMW logo on it.

Inside the kit, the pump, electric pump, manuals, hoses, gloves adpters etc.. The pump has a pressure gauge built in.

My odd looking unlowered ride with the 18' Volk Progressiv MEs.. Really need to drop the car sigh.

My heart keeps pumping hard when looking at your photos... ur photos turn me on.. :D

Actually the rim not very JDM la... In fact its very OZ looked. Inspired by OZ kot.. :D

Why u didn't go 19", since u need to spend that kind of money? 18" is just factory 325i M-Sport size la ...and 20" pulak is over size for 325i, more suitable for 330i..

Of course, your money your choice la ;)

Nice rims! 19" might look better but is really not suitable for local roads. So, have you decided on which new suspension?

Bmrocket, I'll explore with some BMW suppliers I know on the prospect of group buy, heh! If anyone here can also help, that would be appreciated.

Yea, actually I was all psyched up for the 19's but there is no stock of it till end March for both rims and tyres (PS2). Then this deal came along and it was too good to pass up. I actually got them used where the 1st owner had them new for 5,000 kms and was headed overseas for further study had wanted to get some $$ back before passing the car to his mom. It only cost SGD3k with both wheels + tyres (~RM6.8k) in perfect E90 fitment, which for that $$$ was a no brainer for me lol. Anyway, I'll try with 18's first and see if I like it, and if I wanna go 19's later then this set will be up for sale LOL. I saw a 335i coupe in SG with the ME's in 19 and the visual impact is stunning!

E46F,

Sweet rims dude...enjoy

Gong Xi Fa Cai and have a great year ahead!!

PS - quickly go get it lowered today before the shops close for CNY :D

E46F,
does the car feels lighter from start with forged rims compared to original. i'm sure fuel consumption will be better too.
enjoy your ride!

I just bumped into Xero200 and he's got the 19" Volks ME on his E90. He's been out of touch with the forum due to work but will drop a note to say hi soon.
