Hey JPB, I heard from Freddy Obermaier that they are doing ECU Remap. RM 3,000 for a 20bhp and 20NM increase. Interested ?

By the way, how's your ride after the remap bro bmrocket ? I remember you did the remap too right.

Wow! what kind of ECU remap product does Obemaier do? Superchip?
I am interested.

I am interested too but would appreciate more feedback and information. I'm a little concerned on the risk to engine longetivity and mileage. What Energy and I would be keen to do is to unlock the 323i's potential to at least 325i capability at all ranges.

Need some advice from gurus here..

Im planning to upgrade my suspension and breaks system on my ride. I found that even my ride is said equip with sport suspension still i found the body roll is pretty worst then my previous e46 325 M Sport. izzit because BMW had choose this soft setting for run flat tires? so if i change with stiff suspension izzit the ride would be very very stiff ride? any suggestion. I want to keep use my run flat tires.

Breaks...The stock break is fine, nothing wrong with it but would like to upgrade with bigger size disc. ceramic carbon..with 6 piston? Not sure on this.
By having this upgrade's. izzit will void the warranty in any way? any good place for me to get these upgrade's in KL or Selangor?

Thanks and happy New Year...

If your're going with big brake kits for your 335i, I think the stock 18's wont fit them heheh.

Interested in selling off your lovely type 189 rims? :D

additional 20hp is not much so I would not worry about longevity. Also 20hp is peak, which I am sure you will not be driving at most of the time. I would be more concerned about the tune throwing codes. Think Obermaier is offering a HIOP tune

The 335 (stock) actually has a decent set up....the suspension is slightly softer than the M-Tech suspension which I find a tad stiff with RFT. If you want to keep your RFTs, try changing your sways. If you still find the roll abit much, change to KW coilovers...

On the brakes, ceramic brakes are OTT if you are not tracking (my 2 cents). The 335 does suffer from brake fade so if you want to improve that, you could go with a few options (in increasing costs)
- ss brake lines
- pads
- calipers (eg Rotora sells caliper upgrades for the 335)
- BBK (eg Brembos, Alcon, Stoptech)

Hope this helps

Not sure exactly what you want...you can get most of the stuff in KL...where to go to is quite subjective...I go to Obermaier...not because they are the cheapest but because they are very knowledgeable...they are btw, probably the largest reseller for KWs

For the sways, H&R is a popular choice and again most shops carry them (eg obermaier, Exotic Motorsports, MotorsportsDivision). For brakes, brembos are most common, alcon and stoptech you would have to order. E46F is right though, don't think your ori rims can clear a BKK

For sound, it seems like you need an exhaust...eisenmann sports is loud at WOT but does not drone (have to order). Hartge is good (obermaier but have to order)....lots of options....need to know exactly what you want

Now we are talking about mods for E92 323i & 335i. Hey... u guys must come out la to show show your E92 335i and compare notes. We the E90 owners can be around as busybody :)

okay okay  sure will attend this time around. Kindda worry on 3rd party upgrade, maybe it just me. how about BMW upgrades. like the M Tech suspension setting and those high performance blue calipers breaks on the 135 series. pretty cool though..wish i could get those. where is these shop by the way. izzit somewhere in Subang?

I finally went to Sunway - Marco's shop - Motorsport Division to get the ACS roof spoiler reps fitted on my car. He's selling ABS/Plastic ones which are higher grade for Rm300 to us club members. Also the spray job and the install was perfect.

The more I look at my car now, the more the car needs a nicer set of wheels and lowering ... I still cant decide on the rims to get and the suspension setup. Either Breyton Vision staggered 19's with KW's for the all out modded look or M tech's with 189 18's BMW rims for the more practical (and cheaper) approach. Also the 193m's are starting to grow more on me. Hmm..

Here's a 4 door SG E90 with the 18's 189's.

E46F, I must agree with Rookie that you will never go wrong either way that you choose but for me, I would go for Breyton Vision with KW if money is not an issue.

Bro, u can never go wrong with breyton vision. Find a staggered rims with spacer to have more flush look. Here's some pic to spice up your day...:top:

My personal preference is to stay away from Breyton...they have nice designs but too bad their rims are heavy and soft

Thanks. I am not a fan of heavy and soft rims. The lighter aftermarket strong/forged rims are in a total different price bracket alltogether esp in 19's. Certainly something which is not in my budget plans at the moment heh. The closest will be the OEM BMW type 220m 19's M3 rims, but I am still doubtful that they will be a good fit to the non M3 E90.

I guess I'll keep on looking for a good deal and something I fancy. I used to be able to blow more $$$ on my car in my younger days, and such a pity I'm growing to become an old kiamsiap fella as the years pass on!
