i dun have many photos as i took pictures with other ppl's cameras mostly.

i din take many with mine either cos both batteries were flat...

anyway, sorry for being away so long and not posting the pictures earlier. just got back to sg late yesterday... and very hectic at work.

i had joo hooi cafe's penang assam laksa twice this trip... it was recommended by makansutera and led there by my garmin nuvi.

the soup is clear and the fish is finely shredded. garnished with thinly julienned cucumber, pineapple, mint leave, and lettuce... it smelt of lovely bunga kantan fragrance. the soup is sweet, sour and spicy.

i consulted the makansutera after i licked the bowl.... and found that just outside... there was a famous ice kacang and cendol stall...
