BMW Factory Tour

Why must be invited, mate?

Please dont get me wrong , I am not compelling anyone to invite me.

However I cant travel all the way from Penang without any confirmation that I'll be able to join the tour.

For that I'll have to wait for the committee's greenlight.

But as I have said its the committee prerogative, I am not demanding a place.

If there is a place available, I would like to join ( of course, subject to me handing over the joining & annual fees & application forms when I come down).

Otherwise, no hard feelings on my part.

Kindly do not construe this as a demand, its merely a request, so there is no must involved.

Can I suggest you take the following steps to secure your place for the factory visit :

1. Download the BMWCM membership application form
2. Fax the completed application form to 03-74918122 (Attn : Fabian Yee)
3. Bank in RM300 to BMWCM Maybank Account : 512352307612

I have also listed your name in the factory tour name list to secure your place and if all places have been taken up - I will vacate my spot for you....

Appreciate if you can post here once you have done this - I will personally follow up with Fabian - to ensure speedy processing of your application. I look forward to welcoming you as a official member and for a participant to the factory tour bro....

The same thing will happen next year when time for renewal. He'll suggest an event that is interesting to him, wait until the committee to organize it, and then send the cheque for renewal.

With due respect bro - in this case, there's nothing to leave it to the committee...

the committee has many a times stated that the tour is open to all official members on a "first come first serve" basis... So to secure your seat - at least you must be proactive enough to register yourself as a member and your seat is almost secured after that - as the confirm list of members for this Thursday's visit, has not reach 40 as of today.... so take the first step and get your application form and payment to the committee.... and I'm positive, after that the committee will take care of the rest for you....:top:

Can RM300 get you to Germany and can 1 person alone be permitted to visit the factory to see "nice things" that could be intellectual properties that are being safeguarded? CKD factory or not it is still an assembly plant... and not car wash center. How often do we get this opportunity?

But then if rm300 can get us to Germany and visit the CBU factory... I say... hmmmmmmm
