Guys, After seeking lots of advice from all the sifu's & taiko's, i went ahead to change my stock suspension to Titan's last Wednesday 8/12/2010.Running on 18inch rims & my verdict afte 5 days of driving covering 1000km on it..............very satisfied.Ride is much more composed, firm but not harsh.Best part, wifey did not complain. But me as a driver, driving is much more fun now.Yes, the is slight compromise on comfort but IMHO the trade off is worthwhile for the improved & transformed handling.I am still running on stock springs. My ride height is abt 2.5 fingers for front & 2 fingers for rear. Before this, abt 5 fingers for front & 3 fingers for rear & they did not compress/cut my stock springs (i was there from 10am till 8pm). It was a very exciting to see ur suspension being built from scratch in front of ur own eyes.

Had mine too bro on and very satisfied. Just had one hardcore drive up and down from cameron Highland with wifey yesterday. Very2 syiok bro..

Hope u enjoy too bro! ;)

Maran, am glad you like it. Play around with differeny settings and wait till u get it on H&R's!!!! yeehaaa!!!

Has anyone here got their e38 on titans and H&R combination? Seriously thinking of changing stock spring to H&R, any comments?

I think Badrul is on this set up. But his wheels are 20" You may want to check with him.

By next week mine will be on this set up...waiting patiently for arrival...hehehehe

I've driven Badrul's car before, with the 20"s...it rides well.....

I've Titaned my E39 5 months ago. My ride is 525 with AC Type III wrapped with 235/40/18 Eagle F1 rubber. Stock standard coil.

1. Initial installation.

Pros : Firmer ride and steady handling. I love high speed cornering with the setup.
Cons : Felling bumpy when slowing down. Could be due to tyre pressure. At that time set at 32. Or my rubber 'keras' already.

Stance still high. Does not look nice. They advise not to lower it at the time to give times for the damper to 'settle down'.

2. After 2 weeks I decided to adjust the shock to a bit softer and lower the stance to maximun Titan can handle with E39.

Pros : Looks much nicer and less bumpy when slowing down.
Cons : Ride rather floaty on uneven road and cornering. I don't like it. Does the lowering cause the floating issue as well?

I'm going to re adjust the shock. For the record, they give 2 times free adjust. My concern to go for adjust is that they have to remove the suspension. This mean the rear seat, C pillar and rear speaker board has to be removed. Since my interior is grey, you can imagine their dirty hand when handling the lining. I have to scrub it with solution to clean it. I reminded their bosses to remind their staff on the matter as they are handling mostly high end car. I hope they take my comment positively for their own good. Before I do that, I'm playing around with the tyre pressure setup from 32 and now 35. 34 give me better handling. It takes them couple of long hours to do it so since i stay in Shah Alam and their shop in in Pandan Mewah, i have to take leave to be there. I hope I can find the best setup.

I wonder how does it feel with H&R or other sport coil....

hi all sifu-sifu, nd to change my e38 suspension oso, may i knw the price for front n rear price?

any JB sifu knw where can change this set up at JB?

another question is r this titan suspension cm wif those wire like ori suspension n what is the purpose for those wire?

thanks and regards

Zidee...when u lower your ride, u reduce "play". On street use this is a real pain, only works for track on super smooth tarmac. So my advice, YOU need to decide if u want looks or performance. Getting them both together, is a VERY VERY expensive option, but achieveable.

KY81, Titan is custom made monotube. Adjustable back, fixed front. U can set it to any feel u like. It cost lesser than most aftermarket shocks for E38 and is serviceable. So a very good option. So far am yet to hear complaints from Titan users.

hi bro ssmann, may i knw how much u pay for the titan suspension?

thanks

It is Rm2,800 fo E38. Go see Richard, he will sort u out. Before u do that, come to a TT, sit in the E38's that already have Titan and see which setting u like....will save u time and hassle
