June, I've been searching our forum for meet ups in Ampang that was held 2 days ago but couldn't find any. I reckon that it must have been a meet up of a different club, which so happens to drive BMWs as well.

Anyway, we're all off topic. Have a good weekend (or what's left of it)

On 26/04/2008 spent MYR1600-00 on my 1er. :D
RikeCool RC63 Tint on all windows. Front windscreen - RikeCool RC80.
Thus so far, that is the nicest thing i've bought for my BMW :D
The interior is nowbett er protected from the harmful effects of the UV rays & heat. :D

Hi Pion, Is this one of those tints that protects your windscreen and all the other ones as well from any possible damages that could occur? The one that is not so easy for thieves to smash the glass.

They call it Security Film.. it takes a lot more effort to break the window. Not recommended for windscreen and rear side window for emergency rescue reasons.

Wah RC80 izzit mean 80% light penetration? Latest ruling require minimal 80% light penetration. Add on your OEM window coating, your RC80 will have less than 80% light penetration lio..

Good luck! We all need it because 99% on the tint film in the market all KENA!!

Yup, according to the tint installer. Its thicker than V-kool & does not "corrode" as v-kool tint is made of metallic elements. There are other brands which are thicker :p

last time thot of installing on my tea trolley these 'security tints' and my fren stopped me. the reason he said was, they will break your door if they cant smash the windows. costs more.

i don't think they will break the door, more like the door lock or locking machanism. Had someone drill into my door once, fortunately did not get through, noticed a small hole near the key lock later when wahing the car.

best thing for a bimmer would be a good good security system:rock:

actually the windows can still be broken, only will take a wee bit more time i believe

Aiya guys! I appreciate the input but a little off topic lah. hehehe...

Got a set of four [4] metal wheel valve caps at MYR0.23 [rounded to MYR0.25] a piece. A MYR1.00 well spent on my ride. She now has the most beautiful metal caps on her shoes plying MRR2, the Ampang elevated highway and the KL Financial district!!!
