Obviously....not good enough for you Lionel Koh. Still hubbing on this issue as always and still just a forumer after all these years.

Whatever the case, do not quote me out of context. Do not use TTH as one example where i used the word "close relationship" but try looking into others like Rike Cool, Maguairs, Castrol and others who have contributed voucher's and other goodies in the clubs many activities. Something you never did at all....even after benefiting from your commercial postings in the club despite several reminders by the then committee not to in the interest of fairness to all parties and those who sponsor the club.

I am sharing my opinion as a forumer/club member/ex-committee which is alot more than what you have done for the club as a forumer.

i do not represent the current committee who is in my opinion the prerogative to run the club how they see fit in the interest of its official members who are again, more entitled to express their opinion about the direction of the club and its day to day runnings than you.

Since you asked about my personal opinion, as a consumer, I will never buy anything from you even if its cheaper simply because I don't think you're an ethical business man where you believed advertising in this forum is your given right when none existed in the first place. you take that right which is not yours and you benefited from it despite knowing the rules where those who advertise here contribute to the club. in your case, you contributed nothing.

if you want to suggest / propose to improve the way things are done, by all means do so but if this is your way or trying to undermine the club or to try to put me in a bad light after my little clarification, think again...and again...and again....and again.

and after thinking again, you might want to be an official member if the interest of the club is really what you have in mind. otherwise, don't waste my time...i don't have time for losers.

Dear all, we understand the confusion. Even me, myself and I am sometimes bewildered. However , we have been deliberating and a solution is in the pipeline to clear the confusion. It is in the midst of implementation pending collaboration from the website admin in setting up some changes to the forum. It is just a matter of time. In the meantime, postings that are business in nature will be moderated. Business means having profit and in a continous nature. Not only this forum but other forums practise the same thing ,ie: NO Freeloaders.
Basically , Members or forummers can sell used or old personal items & on ad-hoc basis like NEW items wrongly bought, so selling at same price bought or cheaper, selling personal second hand items(garage sale) or items not used. Buying /procuring items specifically for reselling them constitutes a business for profit nature. Hence not allowed. Even mudah.my are implementing something for companies regularly selling on their site.
It's like this, if I put my car up for sale at a second hand dealer yard, would you think the dealer would allow me to just drive in without their consent, park the car there in their compound and put up a "FOR SALE" sign with my number on the car and then leave it there. Sure they wont but they will for a fee isnt it? and that also is if the car meets their liking.

But do not despair my fellow forummers, a solution is in the pipeline to help you in your business. Everything has a solution. But for fellow Official members we are a bit more tolerant. I dare say that , because hey they are OFFICIAL MEMBERS, some of the perks that we accord to them on ad hoc basis.

In the meantime, for items that got moderated, please do not despair, janganlah marah ye.. there is www.mudah.my . You can post there in the meantime. The world is a big place . It is not confined to the "Classifieds" here. If you think that the audience here is much more valuable and beneficial for your business, then please DO wait for the solution to come. I applaud your kind understanding.

As for commercial posting tat u refer , i hope its apply to all regardless for NEW or USED parts, normal member or official member,those who own a shop or without a shop . So long selling parts to get a profits will consider commercial and ALL these posting shld not be allowed.....

"Tolerant" to certain party for sure will crated a unhappiness as some will feel the committee is "Double Standard" .........

BCM is official club so everything hv to follow the R & R and must implement strictly .......

So either u allowed ALL to post in classified or banned ALL commercial posting regardless NEW or USED parts, normal member or official member,those who own a shop or without a shop as i mentioned above ....

...why need complicated procedures...like I said earlier if you want to have the right to post just abt anything within the legal confines of the forum (ie: no selling soiled underwear) be a OM, make it as one of the benefits of being an OM. As it is now theres not much bragging rights for being an OM...

Gentleman, I think its time to just chill and let the current committee decide . The President has made that known and he will inform everyone once they have sorted out the issue.
