Superchip

There are a few complications that I hope someone here can help me clear out. I’ve purchase a Superchip for my BMW E46 330ci about 2 years ago. Recently, my workshop had upgraded my ecu with the new software and was unaware of the chip had been installed. He had overwritten the chip. I contacted certain dealers of Supership here in Malaysia but they were uninterested in dealing with me and insisted me to puchase their products and other chips, saying this is better.

For your 330i, there isnt any chip installed in the first place but rather the original chip was flashed and reloaded with the new program from Superchip.

I guess if you beg hard enough, some one maybe kind enough to you and help you to reload the "superchip" software for a small fee. Have you tried asking the original installer??

I tried asking Stuggart and Eurocar but one said that it cannot be used, that the chip is useless on I take it out. The other keep on asking me to get Ihop chip and that all he could tell me.

Stuggart but it was a couple of years ago. They told me that the chip cannot be used one you remove it but I find it hard to believe.

Eurocar just kept telling to purchase their Ihop chip...

These are the corresponding emails between them and myself. I am still waiting for their response. Btw the Superchip was done about 2k+ at Stuggart. I heard tha Hiop chip is better, well thats what Eurocar rep kept on repeating.

I’ve contacted with Stugart Auto and Eurocar who are the dealers in Malaysia for Superchip but they were not interested in answering my questions regarding the chip. What do you require from me to assist me with this problem.

I would like to know if it is possible to re-load the software into the chip? I was told by them that once you remove the chip, the chip is deemed as useless.

You could probably try to contact EKS Motorsport at Sunway, they are the original Superchip dealer in Malaysia. Look for a gentleman named Gene, he would be glad to assist you.

just go to EKS in Sunway... but don't be poisoned with all the ACS bits they have on display...

Google for "EKS Motorsports" and u should be able to find..
