Yap you are right that is the shop we use to visit in Bentong and before he shuts down a Seremban guy bought over all that are left in the shop and that guy also passed away and now his son is my personal caretaker for my Austin and Spitfire sometimes my e30 too if Sam is busy. I am consider lucky there are still good guys willing to look after my olddy if not susah lah. I left my Austin for general overhaul with him and ask him to do when he is free and takes him 1 year, its ok check every thing and make good spend 4k plus happy abt it. now my Spitfire is to go soon.
I never heard abt that Indian guy. is he the ex army office? if he is the one I know, ever base in Seremban but now retires in Taman Tun.

FYI, me in classic car club now 11 years oledi lah.....since the day i got my licence and been aroudn classic cars since the day i was born!.....
i gatal wanna buy one MGB....but the owner of the car tht i'm eyeingdun wan to sell yet ler.

spitfire....not many in good condition....if got ...way too pricy....better buy mgb roadster!...

rezzy, hope you have a backup for all your pix of the cars, in CD or something, and not only put them on ur hardisk ....
it'll be nice to see the pix when u first started ur project and the finish product, ur beautiful car!
that's what i didn't do and then one day, my pc kaput.... :aggressive:
i had taken pix of my 02 from the time i got it, and thru out the restoration period! damn lot of pix, wanted to compile them all, and frame it.... but can't do that now!
all lost!! :cry:

I haven't been taking pictures so far only to start it now since digital came in, those days use to take alot while our rallies and so on but all in album everywhere. yah lah got to compile it. shy away to take pictures actually.

k: ya.. compile man! then when u tell your stories, you got the pictures to liven up the stories even further!! Shy to take, that's why have to go near roadside and take??!

TR4 is my dream but to late for it now as I am thinking of fast modern convertible and maintain what I had.... parts so far did general overhaul no problem of parts as my mech. are also vintage so he knows how to sort for parts so far no problem, sad he passed away and now in the hands of another good one from the group of friends, when I did my overhaul all parts are from England even Pistons I witness it myself but now I don't know if not have to import if important. I am well prepared for the worse fly to UK grap what I need and that will be last resort. British cars should'nt be a problem alot are interchangeble parts I got a brand new starter below 150 bucks no question ask terus I grap even can be repaired..... today people take advantage actually they are cheap.Originally posted by -berq-@Sep 19 2005, 02:19 PM

not at the moment just shop around for DIY tools got a polisher Bosch, high jet water gun Bosch, 3rd impact drill, deeply thinking to buy spray gun and air compressor, not yet no place to store even welding set but to learn 1st the technic how to handle. going creazy.Originally posted by -berq-@Sep 21 2005, 01:55 PM
