Would like some advise from with all the sifus here:1. When I attempt to stop the engine after engaging parking by pressing the start/stop button, it doesn't switch off the engine but rather like standby mode, I could still see the handbrake light in on, only to press the second time then the engine is switch off. It is common or some setup problem with my new baby?2. When we switch off the car, is there any button to switch of the idrive screen?3. Where can I locate the sound volume indicator?4. I noticed the inner head lamp close to the kidney grill doesn't light, how to activate ?5. Does 328i luxury come with sport+ mode?tks

Pressing the start/stop button once and pressing the lock button on your keyfob or the start/stop button again shuts down everything. You will also notice that the hazard light button and the headlamp control remains lit even after that. It will goes off after some time like 10 mins or so.

2. When we switch off the car, is there any button to switch of the idrive screen?

if you switch off the car by the above step, the idrive should shut down.

3. Where can I locate the sound volume indicator?

i don't think we have that display.

4. I noticed the inner head lamp close to the kidney grill doesn't light, how to activate ?

i don't think there is any light for that.

5. Does 328i luxury come with sport+ mode?

Not sure :p

For question 5:
nope, luxury model doesnt come with sport+ mode.
i think u can simply change to sport mode, then press DSC button to turn it off, outcome should be the same as sport + mode.

The luxury model indeed DO come with the Sport+ mode. There are a total of 4 modes (Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport, Sport+).

the courtesy car which is luxury line i gt when changing rusted seat has no sport + mode.
any luxury line owner can clarify on this matter?

What's the difference between Sports+ and Sport mode? Is it just the DTC switch off or the mapping is more aggressive in Sports+ ?

Sport+ switches off the DSC but activates the DTC, which allows abit more wheel spin before the safety features kick in (rear brakes & power cut).

Only play with Sport+ if u r prepared to handle oversteering or mild drifting.

Thank you bro M for the insights. So, the only difference between Sports and Sports+ is between DSC and DTC and the engine mapping is the same?

Sport and Sport+ rpm and gear shift points seem to be the same so I guess no difference in engine mapping.

I noticed the same thing too. Thanks for confirming my doubt.
