Forget it people.... take it from me, you cant win. The key words here are MITIGATE not ELIMINATE. You can MITIGATE the problem but not ELIMINATE it. They are like the Borg..... "resistance is futile".

Car Antifrees is really tasty to a cat. You would be suprise to see how fast they suck it down. to them its sweet and tasty. try a bottle if you can get one. sure works.

I thought the idea was to repel them not to attract them with anti-freze. Anyhow i had the same problem with cats years ago when where i was living, one tomcat would single out my car out of the many other in the milti-storey car park and plonk himself on my bonnet/roof for an midnight siesta. When i returned in the morning to collect my car, there would be a warm spot on my bonnet/roof, fur all around and little foot prints running all over the car. Thats even when my car was filthy:stupid:.

Fortunately the cat didn't scratch the car and the fur would blow off when i drove away so i didn't fuss to much about it. Now moved out so no more cats to worry about. Now new problem is gecko's that s**t all over my car at night. Damn geckos:thefinger:

Hahaha! I thought I'm alone with this problem. I've got a lecturer for neighbour and he absolutely loves cats, and he's got 3 of them.. and they sometime took turns to visit my home at night. And they always picked the convertible top to sleep on, softer and suspended. And I also have problems with lizard droppings..

I'm out of my wits as how to deal with it. Being an animal lover myself, eliminating them by harm is out of the question. Any ideas here is most welcome.:banghead:

cover the car at night. In the morning, open it. I had to do this for my 3 as my neighbor's cheapskate porch is the khemah type and water flows to my side when it rains. Can spend on a decent house but can't spend on a proper extended porch.
