Personally I will take a 530i E39 or E39 M5 UK Spec or.... E46 330i Cabrio Make yourself known!! Create a grand entrance!!

well i think the maintenance for e46 and e39 ---->

abt the same bro .....1 litre diferent (engine oil)

but e46 has lotsa stuff to modify compared to e39...so u might get burned as well when u purchased a e46....

Previously owned an e46(330i-sports) and e39 as well...and i agrree with Geoffrey that if you plan for e46, go for the cabrio.....type... cun ma....can pick up also..hahaha

...maintenance costs would depend on several factors including the following:

1. Condition of the car when purchased ie. new or second hand or older ?...

2. How the car was maintained & serviced...? ( I know, I know, I'm an AB stickler..)

3. Has the the vehicle been modified in any way with or without proper UDM guided specifications/calibration for that UDM model...?

4. Is the car actually trouble free over the usual recommended mileage before the service period...?

5. If you're sure of the above, then that's the cost...of either general maintenance &/ or cost of repair & replacement for that model ?
