Go for 18" bro. Our engine can still handle it.

Yes you might opt for 19", but the price tag comes at least with a 2.5 engine....... cabuts.......

AS, my personal experience is, don't go for 19". If possible, go for 18". The looks is nice but the ride is harsher, plenty of potholes in Malaysia and the tyres are expensive as well as you lose a bit of pickup.

Hi Bro AS,
Hope this reverse psychology will help you make a decision:
1) You buy 18s and as soon as you leave the shop, you noticed a car on 19". Perhaps like the white beauty in namidub's pic. U regret, turn around, trade-in your 18 and buy 19s.

2) You buy 19s and as soon as you leave the shop, you find the ride is slightly harder, slightly slower and zig zag pothholes. U regret, turn around, trade-in in your 19s to get 18s.

Personally, no. 1 gets my vote... but then again, I'm bias :p - I have long accepted, pothholes are amongst the many reasons in Malaysia that will not let me drive as fast as I wished. Road hogs, water puddles during rainy season, crazy aunty that come out of their lane without signalling or looking, dogs and cats,AES, petrol price.... and the fact I dont always reach the traffic light 1st. It's a good headache to have huh? :p

19 is awesome bro, and a must for e46 :) .... get genuine bbs, u will be surprise on the comfort level, replica is the crook of that harder feel. but genuine also no fight for our potholes, just have to b extra cautious, anyway this can happen to any size rim, gd luck

cheers

Highly agreed AS for weekend car you ought to choose 19"!!! Key word is WEEKEND car as looks is as good as rides are concerned lol. Just take it as a cruiser and not rempit car ;)

Mati lorr like this ...everyone is looking for the same style and size as I am Hahahaha

Thanks everyone for your kind advice and racun..

My Home Minister said NO to 19 as 18 is the most as she prefer to maintain the comfort of the car.

With that, do make me your offer in swap with my rim. I am looking for 18 staggered if possible

Make me an offer ya.

Max size for E46 is 18" full stop unless yours is E46 M3. Get original & staggered set up rim if possible.
