Hello people!Well its time for our family's F10 528 (MY12) to go for the first service. About 2 k kms to the service according to the computer, but sending in anyway, cause not free later.Got it from AB Glenmarie new, I have heard many horror stories about their service center. But for me their's is the closest to the workplace, so it is super convenient. Basically all they need to do is an oil change and thats it. Oh and to tighten my screw for the number plate. That's all. Is it worth sending to them? I mean like oil change should be quite easy no? Any good experiences from this dealer? And btw, the car is fantastic. love love love (x10000000000) it . From the way it lights up to the sound to the pickup,

Not a good idea as that would just lead to frustration. There are better and faster authorized SC's for BMW.

I am considering of sending mine to AB Glenmarie for my next service after the bad experience with Wearnes Autohaus Segambut. In fact glenmarie is the closest for me but I went to Wearnes for my first service because of the free alignment promotion and also because I bought my car from them. However, after yesterday's bad experience, I think wearnes is no different from the others. But now looks like I have to find another SC since AB Glenmarie is also problematic.

Many BMW SAs are full of crap, take your money then that's that. Glenmarie is not the best of places to go also. Ingress is decent but not that great frankly. LOL!

Thanks for the replies. Well, I decided no choice, got to send to AB Glenmarie since it is the closest. Made an appointment today and told them to get the technical guys to be there cause I wanted to ask why my iDrive internet is not working. Then she asked me back, your got internet?

@.@

Seriously...... (smacks head on wall)

And also, I am following tIANcI's way. If they mess it up, get hold of the manager's number and goreng them la. (Y)

This is what frustrates me whenever I talk to a SA that is not technically sound. Too bad we have too many of these type of SA in Malaysia.

F10 528 iDrive should come with Internet. It's probably due to wrong settings. Did you switch on your personal hotspot on your iphone?

My 2011 F10 528 was sent for service twice on the non connectivity of the center console USB port.... Twice failed. I just don't understand how they do the test, they should at least do some testing with iphone/ipod connectivity or confirm that the BMW Connected Apps. is working fine. I wonder did they train their SA on these checking routine. What I got after the service is the same (2x), charging will work only if I'm very lucky not to mention running any apps.

Best to take some time off and go to Ingress or Quill. AB may be nearest, but they service is usually not satisfactory and cause you additional stress.

Even at Ingress, if the SA walks to you like he is superstar Rajnikanth, as for a different SA. Many young punks think since they work for BMW, they have to carry the attitude of a superstar towards you, the customer.

Personal hotspot must be on? Nope. I only have bluetooth on...

You will need to switch on personal hotspot for data or Internet connection.

Post Service Update #1:

Was there at 7.40. Not bad. 8.01 they were open. Straight gave the keys. Within 10 minutes, the SA came to brief me. He says recommended intervals are every 10k, thanks to our weather. Though BSRI is only at 30k and 60k based on BMW Germany -.- So this was a paying service then. Estimated 800-900.

Waited and chilled there. Went to KPC all the cars there hehe. What I noticed, the MAX button for the AC in F10 for 2013 is now a MAX AC button. And the recycling air button now says A (recycle symbol) M, instead of A only... It seems the QC of their cars still good. F30 still stunning.
