Hi guys! Just wanting to intro myself. I'm Carlson, already e90 320d owner but just picked up my 2007 z4 2.5i today! Got it for a steal and first thing I did was dump the 18s and went up 19s! Hoping to meet up with fellow z members soon!

Hi. I am new here too, buying a Z4 2.5 2007 Japan Specs.

I have a question: It would seem BMW only produced 3.0 litre engines for Z4s for 2007 but why are there so many 2007 Z4s with the 2.5 engine? Am I missing something here ... LOL?

Z4 2.5 and 3.0 engine are basically same, with difference of crankshaft. Extra capacity is achieved using an increased stroke of 89.6 mm if im not mistaken. Basically, same engine block as 2.5 liter..

Thank you for the response. Ok, I understand it is basically the same engine but if BMW officially stopped production of the 2.5 from after 2006, why are there so many Z4s in 2007 with the 2.5 engine?
