Dear Sifu's,Need advice about this. I was pottering around Penang Island last weekend in my 328. And on the last day, Sunday, while waiting for the wife to finish some shopping, car started to vibrate on idle. Could see the bonnet vibrating as well. RPM was less than 1000. When revved sound very harsh and felt rough. Called up mech who said it was probably failed coil. But he said driveable to KL. The car suffered power loss, but still able to move. Somewhere after Juru, problem disappeared. Car was as smooth as ever. Any idea's Sifu's? Coil or injector? Car was okay this morning, but I'm afraid the problem will recur. Thanks:stupid:

Thanks Jason,

Yes I changed to Ron 95 almost a month ago. The car had been running fine until now. I'll consider this suggestion,

Regards

Just to update guys,

changed the defective coil. There was aproblem with starting and idling. Had to floor the accelerator for a few seconds and crank to get the car started. Changed the fuel pump first, the problem persisted, changed the fuel pressure regulator next, both the problems dissappeared. engine is purring along, consumption is better too.

cheers
