Gone are the days when we can clock RM100 for approx 800km......!

Be prepared for the coming petrol price hike, then we will be talking RM100 for 300km only!!!!!

Today's the Star Headlines - New Fuel Scheme.....Hint Hint!

I dun support NGV. I support diesel, least i dun have to 'Q' up with the taxi and take up 3/4 of my boot with a stupid tank. And i heard from a friend(driving a NGV converted Land Rover) here in Aust that the valves will burn easily cause NGV conveted engine usually runs very lean. Besides running on NGV u will loose alot of power(remember the time u sat in a taxi and how much he have to rev the engine to move the car).

True that Diesel is better then NGV and power lost from NGV is one of the major minus

yeah...was told that the NGV is not friendly to the engine in the long run...so too risky for the UDMs

the other day i was in a taxi back and at one point it had some popping sound...the taxi driver sed sometimes the mixture not too good....can have some water?? so it pops.....aiyo

We cant compare our cars to TAXIs.. They(taxis) runs thousands of KM per month and its maintained by their companies.

Even with when they run on petrol their engine are over used and worn

Today headline:

BMW owners had to fork out more cash...

(actually: rich had to fork out more cash due to oil price increase)

2.5L above hits badly???

X4 owners??? 7er???

btw, bmw owners are rich ppl???

and NGV users can switch to petrol at any time they want, you get back your power

Good Day To All,

I Back From Kuantan Yesterday. My Average FC Is 8.9l/100km.... 620km Mileage..

When Travelled From KL To Kuantan The FC Is 8.3l/100km, I Always Follow To The Speed Limit, 110km/h . When Back Drive Faster, So The FC Is Increase, Otherwise Will Keep To The 8.3l/100km I Think. The Fuel Tank Still Got 15litre Fuel Remaining..

My Car Model Is 5 Series E39, 525i Engine With 17inches 245/45 17 Dunlop Tyre. I Think The FC Will Increase After I Change To Continental Tyre Next Year.

Overall I Am Surprised With Such FC For This Car, Quite Impressive.

Kuantan to KL, initially took 40km of trunk roads then only joined back the highway doing about 120-140kmh 2 ppl in car, 2ppl's luggage and a 12"subwoofer+box in the boot. Rm55 in a 320i m20b20 with some mods

From Sri Petaling to Klang via Federal using OKR + 15KM in kampung road, then to IKEA via Damansara Highway then to Damansara Uptown then head home via Puchong total 110km about RM25 E36 318 M43 no mod (only me in car)

I beleive you JC....yesterday i was also in a e39 from kl to temerloh open house in arec's car. With the speed touching 200 km/h the fuel needle tends to go down slowly (with standard wheels).....but not with my e34 if with that speed and 19" rims......
the needle will go down faster

Newbie here. Just something to share. Recently got myself a '93 520i 24V and tested its FC when I was on my way down to KL from Penang. For the trip of 457km my Bimmer consumed 44.791L of fuel. It comes out about 9.801L/100km, which translate about 18.81 sens per km. Speed ranges from 120 to 160kmh along the way.

I have GPS tarklog recorded my journey. Will share if anyone were interested.

Have anyone try to fix the FUEL SAVER GADGET. Find it very effective. Maybe I'll try that and let you all know later.
