I am driving my E34 m20b20 to and flow KL-Kuantan, re-fuel for RM60.00 when my petrol warning light is on. My maximum speed is 120km/h, i keep maintaining my fuel consumption at 10liter/100km or below it on the highway and didn't high rev when in Kuantan town.On the way back i put in another RM40.00 petrol. Total mileage is 587KM (when i on the way0 to my office my petrol warning light is on again)Just want to know any1 test this before???

very good F.C. for a huge and heavy 5series with 2.0 engine.
You have done BMW proud again

Yeah....BMW Actually Very Fuel Efficient Compare To Same cc Japanese Car.

Normally Why ppl Complain BMW "Drinking Water"? It Is Because They Can't Tahan To Drive Slow Once Sitting Inside An Ultimate Driving Machine, haha!!

I Alwasy Push Gas Pedal Quite Hard Cause I Enjoy So Much! Drive It Fast, Then You Will Discover Its Soul, For Sure, Haha!

for me to kuantan and back is almost the same..but i m running fast..

wat run fast.. .u run like you got devil chasing you la... fast ptui.. its way more than fast my fren!..got spittin blak smoke ar?

I do believe with what you stated there...

Believe it or not, I do clock 800+km with my full tank at RM133 (Shell V-Power). I think that's the max it can go... Driving real relax then...

Anyhow, with full tank at around RM120-RM130, I can easily clock 500+km with it. So I am totally agreed on your reading.

Oh, btw, I am riding an E90...

i used to drive a E34 M20B20 manual and indeed its much more economical then the M50B25. I did roughly the same milage for the same distance like yours.

But nowadays on the M50B25, its Rm75 from KL-JB or JB-KL.

woww man!! RM100 = 500km? very good fc... (normal, if you drive carefully like that)
yap like what james chun said cannot tahan to drive slow inside UDM, i like hi-rev and enjoy it very much dont care much about fC at that time hahahaa

Your might be driving a higher cc or 525i, so you can reach a higher speed with lesses rev.

My E39 525i (2001) with 192HP engine also can match the mileage that u have recorded. For me, I also pushed the car averaging 160-180km/h with certain stretch to 200km/h. Normally fill up the tank be4 from Ipoh to KL n then Back n use car in KL/Ipoh be4 refill every week. It varies from RM 95 to about RM 103 each week travelling to n fro Ipoh/KL for 480 to 520km.:top:

My bluepanther e34 m50b20.....always clock 400 km per rm100.......but h'way driving can get 450 km every rm100...fc abit high. But im on 19'' rims and 235/35 tyres.
Sometimes when i so syiok i get even less mileage......well now i really understand what mr jerman mean by.......YOU WANNA PLAY YOU PAY.....

BRO JC.....DO NOT FORGET.......

to also state the car model, engine type and also WHEEL SIZE.........and wherever possible the brand of petrol you are using.........

i think the newer e39s will have much better if not better FC than the older e34s....i also get only 150km for RM50 all town driving.

....that time I travelled about 760km+ from KL to Cherating and back (with some town driving there) I think i needed abt RM150 - 160.....pumped RM50 going there (but had like RM20-30 left in the tank) and then another RM50 while driving frm KT to Cherating....then another RM30 (after travelling a bit in Cherating) to come back to KL.....

Why no one consider NGV? RM7 for 150km ... Thats a huge saving compare to RM50 for 150km claim by E39 owner?? Thats a saving of RM43 per 150km.

Assume you travel 600km per week or 2400km per month, thats RM720 saving per month if you use NGV. In a year RM8640 you have saved!!!

We just want to know how the fuel consumption compare with order car, or how save fuel can a BMW, if u have a normal driving.

Just imaging u r driving a BMW long Q with the taxi driver for NGV GAS:smokin:

May be will somebody will do this when the petrol price rise until RM3 - 4 per liter, who know.

Sorry, I hijack your threat on NGV. Cant help it bro as I heard many news that petrol price will gone up again by 30c to 50c next year.

Also heard that Malaysia's supply of crude oil are running low so are our gas therefore petrol price will surely increased to 3 or 4 ringgit per liter soon. Why cant we all convert now and save the hard earn money and also mother earth.

Nothing to be shy about to que at NGV station for gas as many is doing so in Germany, UK and America
