Hey there,
Quite a fair bit that you can do, IMHO - if you don't mind using pre-owned ICE components. It'd basically boil down to what sort of expectations you have and your musical preference. BTW, what is your ride ? A 3er or 5er ?

Like Van said if you don't mind pre-owned, you can check this with the owner. Saw this in IASCA thread.
2 units ADS MX280 amps
Spec: 2 x 80w OR 1 x 350w
c/w Hipass OR Lowpass crossover
1 MTX 10" woofer with 0.7cubic sealed box
Interested sms me. Mobile: zero one six two two six six zero seven nine, Lim.
Price: 1.1K for whole package.
About the quality and nature of the amp sounding, I'll leave it to Van or the others for comments as not vary familiar with ADS sound, MTX though not bad as a sub but not sure this one as the owner did not state the model.
That will leave about RM1.9k for the HU and wiring (assuming you'll just go the front setting type). You a very good sounding HU. And it so happen in the IASCA thread, there's also a guy selling of his DRX9255 (not the SE though) for RM1.2k.

ah...actually the budget is for a set of component speaker (6.5 speaker size) and an amp (4 channel)....if it sounds good i dun mind getting a used unit though....currently my HU is Alpine WD 560eg is a 2 din player....
currently quite satisfied with the music but when switch a little higher the bass starts to "spread" away...but dun want a subwoofer can ah...but my rear has 2 6.5 subs la....puny little ones....
so how ah....no need to spend 3k better la....
any suggestions :unsure:
