E38 Stereo Amplifier problem

I need some help here guys. My audio system is running on stock setup with factory amplifier. The amplifier tends to at times shut intermitently without warnings. At times its ok. Sometimes whilst driving it shuts off by itself and sometimes I can swith in on again and sometimes I cant.Anybody there can advise.? I would like to maintain the stock setup and not mess with the factory plugins system. :motz:

better go to the chop shop, look for the exact model. then try to plug in or get ur mech to replace it. chop shop will give 2 weeks or more time for warranty..

Actually this is my second amp unit. I got from chop shop. It lasted few weeks without problem and now starting again. Dono if I can be 3 times lucky.

or maybe try to look for tv or electrical repairer if they can repair it. at ss19 there's a few bang

Yes I have been trying that too with no luck. Apparently not many nowadays amp repairmen around especially for something specific like a bmw amp. Anybody know wher I can send it to pls let me know.

Meen ok thanks. I will try to contact AY39. I was thinking along the same line as well.
