Pre Christmas Charity Drive

I would like to attend and this time must bring my gf along so it make my visit more justifiable. Since I can't confirm yet, I don't want to put my name down. Will certainly try but this time, I don't think driving them around the lot is a good idea. This time, I have to do too many taxi rides and there is no thrill in driving for around a parking lot.

The part about bringing gifts, food, fruits, cakes is an excellent idea. Chistmas is a spirit of giving so we can give. Don't have to give cash all the time. Of course the gifts should shared amongst the old folks.

Ok I have found out that the home houses 67 old Folks 12 sisters and 30 staff.
What I plan is to have a raffle draw to make things exciting for the old folks,
We bring the presents and put under a christmas tree and number them. We let the old folks randomly pick their presents. I suggest that all the presents include a small cash donation of Rm20 wrapped within the present itself.
Anymore ideas forth coming pls come forward with it.

Also I will need some volunteers for this project, Anyone?

I think money for them isn't the main thing, the main thing is the personal interaction. That's something money can't replace.

We have been there once, they need money to buy stuff from the mini market that they have inside the home...thats why i suggest a small sum of money for them to spend...they will really appreciate it.

We are not collecting for the home but for the old folk thats residing there and we will be giving presents and money to them individually.

BUT MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL ITS NOT WHAT YOU CAN GIVE BUT YOUR PRESENCE ON THAT DAY, TO LET THIS OLD FOLKS KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.

we would prefer if you could donate cash or in kind to the oldfolks rather than to the home as our mission is to make the old folks happy and not about the home.

As Ive earlier posted we would like to try to give all the old folks a little pocket money for christmas to spend in their minimarket and a little gift as a token since its christmas.
