what is the hotel name that you have in mind in phuket. Month of Dec in phuket sure mahal want.

Bro Redbaron, I'm still waiting for confirmation from my contact in Phuket. I told him Royal Paradise Hotel or equivalent (3-Stars) with ample parking bays for 22 vehicles.
BTW, do you have some recommendation of hotels as per your experiences?

Dec everything in phuket mahal. All hotel 3x more than normal period bro. March to September normal rate October to November 1x more than normal rate Dec to Feb is the most expensive period. You can check in www.hotelthailand.com than you click on phuket. Thats was the reason earlier we choose trang and futher more it wont be so hard for those 1st timer driving long distance. Yes can help you for police escort from thai boder to where ever is the location, including underworld escort.

Hi guys, I can assist you with hotels as I am in this line of work. As I mentioned before and restated by Redbarron, Dec in Phuket is peak, so expect accommodation to be costlier.
Royal Paraside is quite an old hotel and I probably could get their Paradise Wing -Superior for about RM210 inclusive of breakfast. If you are looking at Patong area, not may hotels have large parking areas. What about Karon or Kata Beach area? It would also make it easier for me to source if we have an approx budget for hotel accom.

my opinion, if the stay there is most the time outside activities, then the rooms should just comfortable.. if most of the time 'in' the hotel, must be good with mini bar...

actually not necesarry in December it was just a date we came out with and thought at least have more time to plan..foremost the date was to let people know so that they can plan ahead.. pls suggest other dates if need be
but stick to it after that otherwise it goin to be difficult to plan to take leave and so on..

Bro you can also organise the Trang trip in parallel to this Phuket trip...at the end of the day we just choose where we want to end up...as long at the end of the day we make this trip to Thailand whether its Trang or Phuket. Its an Adventure we are organising...Like I said earlier the Highlight of the whole thing is the Drive there....bcos if I really wanted a Holiday I would Fly there.

If you think DEC is not a good month I suggest you set 1 common date whether its to Trang or Phuket..
