Downtown Kuantan = The Lips aka Blue Oyster Bar for the ahem ahem...

Suggest just a Kuantan/Cherating drive...coastal road nice but a lot of stray animals so risk goes up if rempiting to KT from Kuantan.
KT can do end year...like the one they had for Monsoon Cup drive 2 or 3 years ago..this one can go via Bentong..Kuala Lipis..Gua Musang..Kuala Krai..Machang..Besut..KT. Some nice B roads to robek there..

Club Med in Cherating would be simply awesome!!!

Hyatt Kuantan isn't bad either... but between the two, my vote goes to Club Med.

Wonder if they would take a one night groupie with a BBQ thrown in? Hhmmm....

Bro, what a brilliant idea. In fact I promised the Mrs after our Cherating trip some weeks back that we will go to Club Med. However, I must impress that cost wise it will be significantly higher, but the fun will also be doubled as ALL activities will be planned. If this is a go and preferred by the majority, then we drop KT and focus only on Cherating/Kuantan.

Would like to hear views from others as well on your preference. We are still in planning stage with firm dates, so can still influence the outcome so far as destination is concerned. Tq

Suggest we just stick to Cherating/Kuantan for this drive. If we start talking about KT and Lojing, then it becomes too complicated. But I do like the idea of Club Med & BBQ. Always wanted to go there, never got the chance.
