Was in PD last nite and came back this morning. Used the trunk road from Lukut to Sepang town. ONLY 18KM.... to Sepang Circuit only 30km in total from Lukut... Much nearer compared to using PLUS Hiway and then the PD hiway.
Road condition ok but single carriage way. certain stretches of the road not good for overtaking.

i agree its nearer thru sg pelek .
so whats the plan ??? do we stick to the ori route ??
inputs guys u prefer old road all they way or half half....
i can guide both ways . i personally use the sepang - sg.pelek - pd way most times .. hheheheh toll cheaper . but its slows u down due to poor overtaking condition ...

When they were building the Seremban PD highway, I use to take the tanah merah road from Salak Tinggi lama to Lukud which is just before PD. The road has many sayang coners and a few places to stop and have seafood lunch. There is also a turn-off before lukud for buying bait for the fishing lovers.
But if you are going to Teluk Kemang, I have to recommend the Seremban-PD highway cos the highway bypasses lukud, and PD public beaches. There is always jam there. The end of the highway puts you a lot nearer to Teluk Kemang. The highway allows youa nice highspeed drive. I have never seen a speed trap.

Saat now they have like 2 traps each direction . Yeah initially it was trap free. Was heaven for seremban boys with turbo car .. ( like Me hehehehehe)

Observations/suggestions
1. Chicken takes a long time to cook. Cannot cook over high flames as it will be burnt on the outside and uncooked on the inside. Suggest that it is half cooked and then re-barbequed. Alternatively, have a microwave on standby.
2. Extension cords - for lighting etc. Best not to overload circuitry though. Anyone with genset?
3. Currently, only one griller?? Long queues, no? Don't mind lending my gas fire griller, need - tank of gas and transportation - 5ft wide x 2feet widex 4 ft high approx. Actual cooking area size is 24" x 18" - Does not fit my e21 boot. Ideally, pickup truck for transportation. Also have a 10 US gallon thermos drinks dispenser - can fit into my boot. (I might not be able to attend bbq, so someone to take care of items, transport to/from)
4. 14th is a working Saturday. If it is on this date, what time is the barbeque supposed to start?
5. Name tags - suggest those with name tags from Grand TT to reuse. Perhaps org committee/club committee can assist?
6. Paper plates/utensils, cups?
7. Soap for hand wash etc.
8. Sauces, barbeque sauce, tomato sauce, tabasco sauce, mayonnaise, chili sauce etc.
9. Vegetables that can be barbequed, e.g., tomatoes, mushroom, onions, cayenne peppers, etc.
10. Tables/chairs? Have 4/5 plastic top tables, again, transport to/from may be a problem

bro breyton : thanx fer joinin in, but the proposed event date is on saturday whereas yer "either 13 or 15" falls on friday n sunday respectively, how laa? im confused dude, kindly verify gain pls, 10q.

for 4 extra flourescent lamp of 40 watt, the consumption or running amp is less than 1 amp. any 13 amp socket outlet is more than enough.
Getset is a bit overlkill unless the bangaloo wiring is prehistoric. :dunno:
