Its very noble for the both of u to think and orgynise this BBQ drive.
My 2 cents, this is another members meet, nothing grand or fancy to promise. All members attending shld play a role, to make the thing a success. Bring stuff, or help out in arranging stuff, carrying stuff, and at the end of the day, mingle and enjoy the company. Dont fancy this to be huge event, like many fellas expected of the Grand TT.
This kinda events are for members to meet up, and mingle, and to increase the camadarerie and mend the bad feelings recently, as wished by Kahar when he tot of this BBQ thingy.
So, fellas, those that are going, pls contribute in participation of self or food or others, and enjoy the night.

Hi... a bmw club (not from this forum) also planning for a trip to PD this may... i will highlight this BBQ program to them and if they on... then singapore bmw club on... forumers from JB on... WHOAAAA.... THERE WILL BE A BIG CROWD CONVOYING FROM SOUTHERN!!!!

We are not vying to be the best club in M'sia, are we? Why don't ask yourselves, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR THE CLUB? Well, other than talking COCK!! Have you done any charity events? How many joined us (or contributed $$$) for the ophanage home in PJ old town? How many donated to the Tsunami Fund organised by the club? Sad to say, this BMW club collected less than RM 1500. Have you done your part to make this club the best in Malaysia?? Have you helped out in the Grand TT? Or to a lesser degree, did you take part in convoys or track events organised by the club to show some support??! Have you taken any initiatives to organise events for the members' benefit??
The fact is MOST OF YOU selfishly joined this club/forum for social reasons like talking cock and hence when the President of the club decides to clean up the forum, all you guys are insinuating all the doomed theories (getting banned la) and shit. Stop acting like wussies and if you don't like what is in store, then there are plenty of other forums for you. Remember, the forum has existed before many of you newbies here and it will continue to flourish with or without some of you. :getyourfactsright:

Maybe everyone should come up with something and show some support.

anyway, there r quite a few items required which we hev yet to get a lender/donor ... u may wanna fill in the gap

dimples : im unsure if commitee is gonna brin the media in. but even if they don, issit possible dat yer dept (bmwclub bulletin) make the whole coverage of the event, snap pix, n send it to media instead? just a tot fer an alternative.
guys : i hev another big event comin up if dis bbq is a success, n trust me, its GOOD. but then gain, lets just focus on dis one rather than bein too ambitious. if cannot tackle the small fry, how to tackle big fish, malu la. i will reveal my plan durin the bbq evenin k.
tmrow mornin im goin to PD gain to c the place bcos judgin fr the crowd, we may hev a lil difficulty, will try to sort out, in worse scenario, i wld even go take up 2 units instead to cater fer all.
tried seekin help fr a maybank pal, cos theyve got beachfront units n view is so much better. he even went to menara maybank to do the reservation tday only to b told dat its FULLY BOOKED til august. n accordin to em, maybank chalets/bungalows in PD very popular compared to cameron n other places.
so GAIN, any frens attached to telekom, TNB etc in PD, pls inform me quick.

alvin : yes dude, dat surely motivate me, three328 n the guys in my team alot. japan eh?, my gf just got bck there, n she even got autograph fr celebrity Kimura Takuya (who acted in beautiful life drama n levi's tv adv) durin the flight there.
2sen : yeps, now, get all the mediaaaas to do the coverage, i got no kaki in dis area, anyone? as fer the sponsorship, if yer referrin to corporate type, i think the club has its feet tight n cant move around alot on dat field cos we r still in the process of registerin. i enquired bout dis myself (registration) n i wuz told, if i cld mention it ere dat it had been submitted n hopefully we wld b gettin the approval or comments by ROS, anyhow, lets hev our fingers crossed then. so at the mo, just make do wiv the individual sponsorship la kan.

im quite relieved, my main concern which is the event venue, has been solved. ive got hold of a much BETTER place which cld accomodate even the whole hundredssss of us if we want, n i feel dis place wld seriously save us the embarassment shld media(s) giv us the big coverage, impressive place k fer our lots, so JB, spore n northern sect, pls come, come 1, come ALL!
got bck fr PD at bout 5pm since 10am wiv eva helpful yazid, thx bro.
ok, the place is called D'Pantai Resort, so much to say bout the place esp the good points tho it has its own limitations (which doesnt rite?). but b4 i go thru wiv the details briefly, allow me to post up these pix i snapped.
