Hey Spaceman, thanks for the delicious fish balls and otak-otak. Those hand made fish balls are definitely outer space stuff!!

For those travelling past Yong Peng, do stop by for the Yong Peng's famous Fish Ball Noodle own by our Spaceman, ask David Yong, BlackE90 and BeemerS3! :)

Cheers

Thanks for organising this Drive:rock:

so, it depends on where you have been... last summer... ehehhe... i mean, the last 3 days... XXX and Jerman, plus some other notti boys went geylanging... to look for kok kok... :listen:

Hello Ah Lian,
NOT me, NOT me........I was not there  !

astroboy;450700 said:
I topped up mine with SGD10 to SGD16.50 on the way out, but can pass with no problem. Traveler and Jerman got stuck despite having a higher Autopass balance than mine, and we pass through the same route in and out..

Astroboy,
No issues with my Autopass. Got sangkut there because the Officer got the Embarkation Cards mixed up! Actually, it was a breeze driving in-out Singapore that day :top:

Jerman, the NOT me, NOT me...I was not there....(by the tone of it , we do not require any further clarification & I think it's self explainaatory. We do UNDETSTAND)...Hahahaha...LOL....

Traveler was charged SGD10 for ERP (SGD5 for each day of Sat and Mon).. plus SGD9.20 for Tuas Toll In/Out, so totaling SGD19.20, so both our friend got fined for SGD10 for having insufficient balance. XXX on the other hand is very loaded with his Autopass, he wasn't fined but same SGD19.20 was deducted from his Autopass. Now that makes me puzzle, why I can leave with SGD16.50 in the Autopass? Did they short deduct me and I risking a heavier fine the next time I visit them?

You got it all wronglah...Traveller got fined SGD10 for not having enough to get out as he had less than SG9.20 as he assumed it was only SGD4.60 and that SGD4.60 was already paid when he entered SG. So he had to pay SGD19.20 (Fine SGD10 + SGD9.20 (Toll SGD4.60 x 2) ), as for me I was only charged SGD9.20, I had SGD24 in my autopass and the balance displayed was SGD14.80 so that means I was not captured by the cameras for entering the CBD and ERP zones...dunno if it will come by mail or have to pay the next time I visit SG again which happens to be in 3 weeks time for F1. At least this is not as bad as one of our members who had to pay a fine of SGD10K if he wanted to enter SG, in the end he decided not to (who in the right frame of mind would) and was escorted by SG police to the Malaysian border...no wonder SG is called a FINE City.

My precious..

Errrr??the car or your kids..???

Quah, your son certainly knows how to capture the moment man:D

Anyway, it was good times down south. Congrats to the committee & everyone else involved in the planning & execution of the drive on a job well done. Many 1st time convoy drivers but everything turned out well. Next target would be to equip all drivers with walkies or at least a nice walking Johnnie:top:

I'd also like to express my sincere gratitude to all of those who helped to jump me ride, thanks to you I'm back home without significant delay. Next HH we will go n dlink:wink:

The entire trip we covered about 800km.. good decarbonized therapy session for my E90.. :top:

The highway distance seems too short.. no wonder some of you guys have been convoying to Thailand every year.. :D

My return trip is not bored too.. was doing 3-lanes weave with a Q7 and an S40 2.5T, the compact S40 was quick!

Actually, I had SGD16.86 balance on my Autopass, but was charged SGD19.20 (SGD10 for ERP, SGD9.20 for Tuas Tollx2). Since I had insufficient balance on my Autopass, I had to pay additional SGD10 admin fee (so total cost was SGD29.20).

To those of you that plan to attend the F1 Grand Prix end of this month, please PM me if you interested to get the daily walking pass, SGD 38. I was told it is selling fast, especially with the number of foreign artistes performing at the Grand Prix.

Cheers

Looks like you all had a great time...
