No Power

hi im new here... i just bought a second hand car bmw 318i 1996 3 months ago, yesterday i drive my friend car same model but year 1998, my car less power than him.... is this bcoz of my gear box or my piping or anything?????

Could be a number of reasons, my 1992 318i as quick as some 325's, depends on how it's been set-up.
Could just be a matter of a service on Gearbox/engine.
might be that the engine managment needs to be reset (disconnect battery for 30 seconds)
or several other reasons.

Air Flow Meter, O2 sensors, crank sensor, spark plugs and cable, vacuum hose, gearbox, main shaft bearings, wheel bearings, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, fuel rail/regulator. After all is replaced then reset your ECU and TCU... your car will get it's life back again.

Most important are AFM, O2sensor and crank sensor then gearbox.

about RM350 to RM400

Contaminants in gas and certain atmospheric conditions can drastically shorten the life of any oxygen sensor, therefore they should be checked with every periodic maintenance and changed if necessary. A new oxygen sensor can improve driveability and lengthen engine life.

how much ar bro if going to change em all? how to reset ECU and TCU? my car lost 40 Nm of torque =(
