I've just got my ride yesterday...it's a E30 318i 1992 localspec. the car consider in tip top condition. everything seems to be original to me. this is my 1st time with a beemer. so not familair with the car.got some questions here:1. My trip meter isn't working, but my speedometer is. How do know whether the meter panel rosak or the cabling problem?2. How to check my engine model? the previous owner change the gearbox to an Auto trans. previously was a manual gearbox.3. whenever the car slowdown, there is a slight jerk when the gearbox move to 1st gear, how can i overcome it?3. when is the next TT, can i join you guys?

now,lets c if i can answer ur questions k...
1.most likely its ur odometer plastic gears tht hav worn out...
it can be replaced by ur regular mech...
2.err,chck ur reg card?sorry...
3.i'll let the sifus answer tht...
4.there r many tt's,but only one official tt which falls on every friday @ showru cafe in kelana jaya from 9pm onwards.
and yes u can join us....by all means...
there is an upcoming 3'ers gathering this coming may 6th in bkt jelutong in shah alam...
